Greetings all,
Its tourny time again here in the old line state. (Maryland)

Date: Aug. 1st 2009
Time: 1:00 pm. (Try to sign in by 12:30)
Place: Renaissance Games
2315 A-6 Belair Rd. Fallston Md. 21047

Format: 400 points. 24 space starting zone. No Marvel. (Sorry) No customs or proxies. Re-paints ok.
The Twist: Players must spend a minimum of 180 points on Heroes. This could be one expensive hero, or multiple cheaper heroes as long as the minimum is met.

Store owner Bruce has assured me that plenty of wave 9 will be in stock, and he's working on getting more wave 1.

As always, map help will be needed and is appreciated. You can submit suggestions on this thread.

Boy Clan, you sure don't waste any time planning your next event This looks like it could be a go for me and Lil Miss Spidysox, won't know for sure till about a week or so before, but as of right now it looks good.

I'm going to be leaving to go to South Carolina to visist some family on the 7th of August, so this is a possiblity. If it gets pushed back at all I will be out.

Does it have to be exactly 400 points or can you go 10 points over or something?

Count me in! Hopefully I can convince Arcus to come as well. I am really looking forward to both this event and the July 18th Eastern PA event in beautiful Allentown. (Sorry, but I have to cross promote these things.)

400 points or less, not more.

Except that doesn't meet the 180 point minimum being spent on heroes...

I'll try to come to this, but I really need to check out my schedule and make sure I can.

It should not be pushed back, barring any unforseen circumstances.

Glad you guys are thinging of coming. Yes, as Tom pointed out, your army can not be more than 400 points, it can be less if you want, but not more.
Also, make sure you and your brothers understand the format, you must have at least 180 points worth of heroes in your army. See the first post for details. Feel free to pm me with questions, or post here.

I just realized that with this format Q9 will be a very, very popular choice. He's 180 by himself, so people can just throw him into any army they want and he meets the criterea. That's never good.

Maybe not, with the repulsors, dwarves, and MRT around now, I'd think Q9's stock has fallen a little.
