Good 300 point armies?

Hey,

Me and scotty are going to the KC hextreme, ands we are on a team. I am having trouble deciding what kind of army to do. I have 290 points to spend, and 11 hexes of terrain. I can go either range or melee heavy.

Yeah the tournament is a 600 pt army. its just split between 2 people. I started a 300 conversation in that thread.

I believe it is for a 600pt team tournament they are doing together where each player takes half (or 290/310, whatever) of the 600 points. edit:

I think 290/11 in a team game is worthy of having its own thread, at least a temporary one.

Though expensive for what he does, Drake is immune to Protector and MRT range, as well as the Repulsor attack boost. Throw in blasts/glads and Krav/Skahen as favorable matchups and he could come in real handy.

Not what I'd bring, but it does fit together neatly. Marcus' soldier attack enhancement is for all friendlies.

Also not what I'd bring, but if you run into some huge figures, they could rock.
