You just overcomplicated the ability. Personally, I wish his teleportation of units didn't happen only when he was injured, but whatever. You made it far too complicated. Why not just make it like Emirroon's teleporting of elves? It makes it much simpler.
EDIT: Onacara, don't you have some questions you need to be answering?

Thank you for leaving constructive feedback. Here is an updated version of my TBR that incorporates your suggestion:




Although my custom is clearly crappy and asinine, I have put a lot of thought into it and am striving for a balanced, yet fun and effective unit. Here is some rationale for his attributes and abilities:
  • Marro Overlord precludes TBR from bonding with non-Marro units, which was a concern due to the Roman Lego's Warlord Bonding. It grants him the ability to bond with the Marrden Nagrubs and Grok Riders, the latter squad needing a boost greatly.
  • Teleportation 4 is very limited so as not to give the figures with whom TBR bonds essentially a double move (TBR teleports forward and teleports his bonding squad members, who then move normally on their turn). TBR may not teleport more than 4 levels up or down, which prevents him from teleporting ranged figures to nigh-unreachable parts of the map - anywhere he can teleport, a Medium 5 figure will be able to reach through moving normally.
  • Teleport Reinforcements is strong, but not completely reliable. The cool part about it, I think, is that through it, TBR offers synergy to all Marro units (including some underused ones like Kee-Mo-Shi). I am thinking about making it restricted to small, medium, and large figures though, so that he cannot teleport the massive Hivelords Tor-Kul-Na, Su-Nak-Na, and Wo-Sa-Ga.

Based on the official description, I think many people here were expecting Tul-Bak-Ra to be quite different than what he turned out to be. Because he is fairly robust at 6 life and defense, he can tank the front lines to an extent, granting the Grok Riders the Mark of the Warlord attack bonus. Through TBR, the Grok Riders and the Nagrubs can get a nice bonus to their movement and threat range - he teleports up to four spaces ahead and then teleports Groks or Nagrubs to him, who can then move on their own turn. The Nagrubs will help keep TBR alive and give you flexibility in activating either TBR or some other Hivelord.

I think this version of TBR not only is a better fit to the original description, but also gives unity and cohesiveness to the entire Marro theme through his various synergies, with so many different Marro units.
