I'm partial to melee, so I really enjoy Marcus Decimus. It's great to cluster up with Sacred Band or the Legos and close in and surround an enemy like a Wulsinu, a DW, or Q9. The fun comes when I start factoring those extra attack dice.
"This Lego has height and is adjacent to Marcus, so he has 5 attack, this one is next to Marcus so he gets 4 attack dice. It's like foreplay - the fun leading up to the fun! And his soldier enhancement for movement really gives the gas to those Greeks and Romans.
A close second is Charos. Most especially when there's a healer glyph on the board.

I can't say anything about RV, because I have yet to play them, but out of the rest, Marcus is probably my favorite hero. One of the best support heros, and 6 life isn't too bad.
