If it's the former, it's really unnecessary, since he clearly doesn't follow Vydar unless that's stated somewhere on the card (and it's not).

True. I just wanted to make it as unambiguous as possible up front. He's a Soulborg that follows UTGAR. If bonuses for Soulborgs that follow Utgar come along at some point (not likely now that DnD has taken over) then I'm fine with that. I just don't want Blastatrons getting a bonus with Ultron...that's all..

Hmm...missed that (not up on DnD much). I suppose, in that case, I should go with IamBatman's suggestion of leaving off the "follows Utgar" language off altogether...

It's been a while but I'm back with some new creations! Found a sweet boardgame at my local secondhand shop:



It comes with 4 sweet catburglar pawns, a nightwatchman and a Dog:




Now, they're just solid colored plastic so you do need to paint them. I figured the catburglars would make perfect Ninjas, so without further ado, I present my version of The Hand Ninja:


In all the comics I've ever seen these guys in (notably the Wolverine mini-series) they tend to swarm the hero with craploads of Ninjas so I came up with Horde Assault. Mystic Ressurection is also my creation. I wanted to call it Dark Ressurection but that's already a power on GreyOwl's Elektra (which I use semi-regularly) so I went with Mystic. I really wanted to give them a defensive power but it wouldn't fit, so they're a little fragile at 3 defense. But I figured since there aren't that many multi attacks in the Marvelscape world, they're sturdy enough...

'Course, once I got these guys painted, they looked exactly Like Members of Isamu's Twilight Clan, which prompted this classic card:



I know, kinda silly, but that's just how I roll. Anyway, here's the cop and the dog:



Together they make for some nice 30-point fillage. 'Course the Dog also bonds with the cowboys, which is nice. The cop by himself probably isn't that great, probably not a s good as Isamu or Otonashi, but probably not bad enough to be worth 5 points, either...

I actually like your K9 and lawman a lot. Cheap common heres are something heroscape really needs. Also, essentially you can have a 30 point 2-man 2/2 squad, one being range. And just one K9 staying in the start zone the whole game can ease order management to a bunch of lawman.

Hand ninjas might be too expensive in my opinion, but are decent melee hero killers. No comment on the other addition

Thanks, guys! Yeah, The Hand might be a little over-priced. I tend to price conservatively so as not to make a unit OP'd...I'm glad you like the cop and dog. Getting the points right on filler heroes is always tricky. I also re-worded the Team Edward power on Twilight Clan Ninjas to more closely mirror the official language on Zombies of Morindan:

It's been awhile since I've posted any new customs, but now I bring you....



This a great online CCG that I've been playing for the last 3 years (see link in sig). Lot's of interesting characters and since they have kind of a super-hero vibe I'm introducing them here (they also have an online comic, so I guess that counts, too). I've also tried to keep them more in line with the comic customs as well (limited multi attacks, high power, etc). These are the first 4 clans. If you enjoy them I may do more.
