A little late for Halloween but check out these costumes
These photos were taken at my 27th birthday/halloween/heroscape party Oct 2008. This year I was sick as a dog on Halloween and was disappointed that I could not throw another dress up scape party. I'm going to make sure these pictures stay put this time though I might regret it one day! Half the stuff was picked from the garbage. All that really cost money was the face paint, robe, and key hooks! I also carved the lovely Jorhdawns staff and fireball from foam as well. The game we played lasted over four hours, but the board wasn't very memorable there are no pictures of it. It took too long to dress up. I carved Warden 816's Evisceraxe rifle out of blue foam. I covered the entire thing in foil tape. One day I'm going to take off the tape and redo it with a good sealer and then repaint it. There is also a long piece of threaded 3/8" rod supporting the barrel with some nuts, bolts and some wire mesh for effect. I also cut some aluminum in a friends garage for custom removable keys. Rubber tracking sprayed with red primer for belt and guards. Cardboard backpack spraypainted gold, an old welding coat, brown monks robe, and a brown towel wrapped around cardboard for a hood. The most important reason for updating this thread is to tell the Heroscape world that the Warden (Myself) and Jorhdawn will be getting married July 2009. I wanted to do it dressed as the Warden but she won't let me. Maybe one day we will have a little soulborg elf baby! Wow..I've got issues. Evisceraxe in all its Glory ![]() Taelord ![]() Hmm photoshop? Yah we didn't leave the house! My friend Mike is a Knight of Weston. His wife was Raelin but I think I remember her telling me not to put it online. ![]() The Backpack ![]() Cutting my cake with the Evisceraxe..well pretending to anyway ![]() The Utgar pumpkin and my collection. ![]() Feel free to laugh or applaud. I am a grown man who spent way too much time making a halloween costume. By the way we do childrens birthday parties. Last edited by glenn : November 10th, 2009 at 01:56 AM. That is very awesome. I had considered doing up some Heroscape costumes, but figured it would be too much work, and not look good.
I don't know how much work it took you, but yours definitely look great! |

I think kit is so cool that somebody went to the effort to make a life size version of my beloved Evisceraxe.

I didn't know the Warden was a welder. I guess that means he made the evisceraxe
