What do you do with all these wonderful toys

Quick question for anyone that cares.

The collection is mounting up and I was wondering, where am I supposed to put this stuff?

I have 2MS, 2RTTF, 1VW, 1TT, 3FoTA, and 1 each of every expansion (minus the heroes from Jandar's Oath)

This is a collection that pales in comparison to many on this site I'm sure.
(I just started playing in June 06)

But I was looking for ideas on how everyone else manages their collection.

It's getting hard to just find the figures.

Please don't call them toys. It makes me feel like a sissy boy.

And I put all my wargaming equipment in a craft storage solution. Like a big man.

Waiting for my old avatar to dry off. And to quit stinking, too.

Fine, how about action figures (No wait, only slightly less sissy)

How about figurines (May have gone sissier that time)

Okay, I got it. Money Pit.

Wargaming Equipment? Never thought of that.

these items are for strategic thought preparation skills. They assist with us fine tuning our ability to navigate the corporate world in a more strategic, efficient and effective way. Case in point. last week, I was on a conference call, discussing Microsoft's re-release of a security hot fix that affected several machines my group is responsible for. Using my honed heroscaping skills, I pulled out my incredible dice tower (thank you IMAX), pulled 6 red dice out of my pocket, pulled agent Car from my drawer, set him next to the phone. dropped the six dice, unmuted my phone, and explained to the facilitator. That they received 4 points of damage, please either roll defense dice (they only have 2), or please stop the call. There, I was able to leave work on time, didn't have to worry about any patching, and feel all the better, because of my heroscape practice.

but back on topic, we have 5 large "basket" bin things (target) that we store terrain in. 1 for each of the main types, 1 for lava, snow, road, castle, and water/lava, and 1 for large figures, trees, ruins, dice towers, cards, etc.

for the units, we opted to go with the plano fishing boxes, plastic white cases with movable seperators. using 9 of them, we are able to get 2 of each unique, 3 master sets, and 2-7 of commons into them up to (and including) wave 5.

if you want a better idea, pm me, and i will try to give you more specifics (pictures, etc), if you are interested in going that route.

Wow, not a bad idea.

I'll have to look and see what I can do about that.

I put all of my Dolls in a tackle box (2 now) and the playset pieces in a giant rubbermade toybox,

Yeah, they're toys, I came to grips with that along time ago,

My mind is the Pink Zippo that sits on top of a pack of Camel Wides.

I have my dice, order markers, army cards, etc. in a platic shoe-box. All my terrain is in old avon boxes (about copy paper sized) divided by 24's, 7's and all the small stuff thrown into another one. I put my figures into ziploc baggies by squad or heroes by general and throw all the bags into another box w/ the big dudes in there loose. I'm thinking I'm going to have to divide the boxes into general-specific ones now, because it is getting hard to find stuff even divided this way.

i have an entire dresser that has 4 MS, 2 VW, 2RttFF, 1 FotA and various expansion, with plenty of room left for more. Each drawer can comfortably fit 3 MS, except for the ones that are divided, obviously...
