Wave 3 Sightings

I wanted to make a list of all the Wal-Mart Wave 3 sightings in the past week or two. These are the posts I have found so far. At least some of the Wave 3 is new stock, according to Gypsy in this thread: http://www.heroscapers.com/community...t=21739&page=6

It is possible that we may be having a Wave 3 rerelease (or maybe WotC found a lot of old stock in the back of a warehouse and shipped it all over the country).

Please post if you have Wave 3 in your area and list where you found it (example: Wal-Mart).

I found all four of the Wave 3 expansions in a Wal-Mart in Sevierville, TN. (That is next to Knoxville). However, they only had one of each, and I cleaned them out of what they had.

In addition to Wave 3 the store had Wave 8, so it doesn't appear to be old stock.

I found 2 wave #3 packs at Walmart just yesterday. They are gone now though! That was at: 9451 Dunkirk Ln N Maple Grove, MN 55311-5447

Same as Zindil they had a ton of wave #8. I had to dig way in the back of everything to pull these 2 packs out, so I'm not really sure if its old or new.

There used to be two Walmarts in the Des Moines, IA area that had a four-pack of wave three each...they are all in my possesion now though.

Both of these Walmarts have only had a few wave 8 packs for the past several weeks, so maybe they had ordered some "small expansions" to restock, and got the wave 3s by chance. After-all, Hasbro's website was stocked with wave 3 for a short period late last week.

I hate it when people post stuff like this! Now I have to spend my whole lunch going to every Wal-Mart in town. Ahhhhhhhrg!

Maybe it's just my local Super Wal Mart but there hasn't been a restock since Wave 5. To add insult to injury, all the packs they have are Gladiators and Agents.

They are just taking up shelf space atm, and none have been sold (literally) since I bought the last of the non Gladiators and Agents sets over 3 months ago.

I went to two walmarts in denver co. I found a whole set of wave 3 in both of them.

I went to the Wal-Mart on Ellsworth Rd. in Ypsilanti, Michigan today and found one complete set of Wave 3. I bought it all except for the Heroes of Nostralund (which I already own).

These Wave 3's were brand spankin' new. I visit this Wal-Mart every single week. Last week all they had were Wave 8 Elves and Wave 8 Heroes.

When I was there today, I searched around until I found a Wal-Mart employee and asked her if they had any more in the back. I told her I would buy them. Without hesitating she said, "No. What is out on the shelves is all we have." I'm not sure I believe her, maybe she just didn't want to check for me.

The point is: HEAD TO YOUR WAL-MARTS IMMEDIATELY! It sounds like (from the posts above) some Wal-Marts only have one set of Wave 3 in, others have more.

New Hope Commons Wal-Mart in Durham NC had a full set at midnight last night.

My advice would be to buy them and trade/give them away to people on this site.

Not a bad idea, but who actually needs this pack at this point? I also am betting that even if those packs did sell, the local Wal-Mart would simply not restock.

New players who really like the game need the older packs. Wave 3 is one that I hardly have any of. Though I wouldn't be trading any of my guys for them.
