There are a few maps out there that have been tweaked or altered from their original design to make them new and exciting...

(i.e. Winter Holdout by Jexik...and Mole Hills Jungle Edition by Rÿchean)

...what I want to do with this thread is pick a map that has been used regularly and give folks a chance to tweak it. We will then vote on the entries and NESA will then incorporate the tweaked version into one of their upcoming events.

You will need to recreate the map in Virtual Scape and provide the build instructions with your entry.

Here is the general rule of thumb for the maps.

If the map is made with only a ROTV originally you can add 1 or 2 expansions.

If the original map already has 1 expansion then you can either change the expansion or add another.

If it has 2 expansions then you can change one or both.

1 entry per person.

I will tell you right now that I hate this map...or should I say this map hates me. Not only do I never win but usually get trounced soundly on it. (No offense Velenne)

Make me love it again by giving it a facelift.

Is there any limitation on the sets that can be used in the tweaked map? Say, can I add 2RttFF+1TJ to Turrets Rocks? Does it have to be in the BoV guideline?

I would assume it has to be BoV since it will be a BoV map.

I think he means because it would be a BoV map being modified, so it would stay in the same restrictions.

Yes, and if you read what Onacara wrote it says "the winners map will become a map in an upcoming tournament."

karl with a k, it looks to me like the right side's ruin (in the picture) is interfering with the raised 3-hex which can be a problem in set-up.
