And I have to say it was pretty fun to watch. Kevin had the urge to flip every glyph over that he could and considering the 1000 point armies they were playing with, everyone got pretty mad when he flipped over the massive curse glyph and they rolled the 20-sided die at least 70 times. The most killing unit on the board was easily Kevin's AE. One the first round he dropped them into the castle peaks, giving them +2 attack. Then on his next turn he moved Kaemon Awasome onto a glyph that gave Unique Army Cards +1 Attack. That gave the AE a normal attack of 6 and a view over half the field. The only flying character on the board, Ulginesh, couldn't reach the AE due to the Frosty Weather that dominated the board for 3 rounds. I took an idea out of Wrath Unleashed and added Mana. Unique units then had the power to cast Wrath, Bind, Resurrect, Teleport, and Heal. We used Marvel Wound Markers for Mana Counters. The other rules we used that I found or made were weather, Rogue Hive, Poisonous Swamp Water, and I made weapons that acted as Special Attacks. I made a few artifacts and armor glyphs out of Card Stock and we had a pretty nicely customized game going. The Forerunner Crystal Shard switched the normal attack and defense of the unit that was on it. A Deathreaver at one point had 5 attack, but on the flip side, 1 defense. The reason The Scaped won was that Kevin and Ryan had to leave. John then took over Ryan's Army and The Scaped took over Kevin's Army. The Scaped didn't want the prize due to his dislike of custom figures (he was outvoted on the custom figures poll). He gave it to his unofficial teammate, Kevin. Winner: The Scaped Prize: Kalkaran Beast figure and card. If you want to know more about my custom rules ask. Last edited by Uchiha Blood : July 20th, 2008 at 02:48 PM. |
