Directions and Maps

Anyone know of a good, easy to use site that will give you a recommended trip order if you want directions to multiple destinations?

I'm planning a business trip that involves several stops, and I want to figure out the quickest order in which to hit them all, as well as get directions from each point to the next.

Any suggestions?

I don't think anything beats taking a map out and doing it yourself. Most of the map programs I used give some screwy routes. If your flying to these appointments I would let a travel agency do it.... they are the experts. I think a program would only cause problems.

I had an old Rand-Macnally program that plotted a route from Texarkana, Arkansas to Texarkana, Texas (across the street) via Shreveport, Louisiana!

In my opinion, nothing beats AAA, providing you have a membership. They give you a booklet of maps with your route highlighted, and they are usually up-to-date with regards to road construction and the like. And it's free (providing you have a membership!)

we all know you're going on a walmart run, just use the store locator on walmart.com and print out the map, you can plan your own route : )

No, no HS fun run, sadly.

I find mapping programs to be useful....folks always give nightmare stories but I've never had a major problem.

I'll keep looking.

If you have about $500,000 annually you can hire my entire department to do this for you. Routing is just one of the many other functions we can provide for you though.
