R.I.P. Tim Russert

I can't believe he's gone, and so relatively young. He will be missed by a lot of people. My condolences to his loved ones.

Yeah I couldn't believe it when I saw this story yesterday. Seems like he should have had a bit longer.

He was one of the few news mavens I actually trusted. He would play hardball with anybody, regardless of party affililation. A true journalist in an age of hacks - yes, he will be missed.

Re: R.I.P. Tim Russert

I really enjoyed how both The Daily Show and The Colbert Report did little bits last night in his honor. It still seems so weird that he's gone.

Re: R.I.P. Tim Russert

This man was truly talented. The presidental debates will never be the same. Not only was he great in his field, he was one I could actually watch because he was intelligent not like some of the newer people then let on tv these days, he was a nice person in general. No one has anything bad to say about him, if you notice. This guy knew what he was doing and could do it!

Even at his age, he is gone too young. I really respect him for his relationship with his father! They showed affection to each other all their lives, even up until his death. No parent should have to bury their child, and you wouldn't think you would when you were advancing in age. It was a rough time to go, his son had just graduated college (congrats to him) and he had a great family. Bless them all and all his loved ones! America has lost a great journalist.

RIP Tim Russert.

It's generally considered pretty bad form to speak ill of the dead, so it's not surprising that you're not hearing anything bad about him now.

All indications seem to be that Russert was a really good guy personally, which I guess is all I should say on the subject.

Also, lol to everthing Fezzik said.
