The TRUE Story of the Server Collapse!

'Twas the night before ‘Scapemas, when all through the web,
Not a Scaper was stirring: the site was now dead.

The party had been too much for the server
As truth and the mods ran around in a ferver.

Scapers hit "refresh" again and again,
While truth’s house was filled with smoke and the din

As servers collapsed and errors cascaded,
A Scaper or two began feeling quite jaded.

An angry post on another game forum
Was angry and bitter ‘bout the lack of a quorum

Of mods, who now panicked, ran around in a tizzy,
While Grungebob and funrun just tried to look busy.

While scrambling for cables, Aldin and xotli
Were tripped over by a panicked Malechi.

(“For the last time, it’s pronounced Malechi!”
He grumped, resetting servers on the fly.)

But hope was now lost, as the Bruce dat is Oogie
Pointed in horror as he tried vainly to boogie

To the protector of surges, now wet to the core
And sparkling with sparks that quickly sparked more.

“Pretty!” cried bunjee as the sparks escalated
And all stood around with breath that was bated.

A final explosion and all did go dark
The room was all black save one final spark.

“Who pinched me?” Bad Calvin crassly spewed,
In a vain small attempt to lighten the mood.

Hextr1p lit a candle, bathing them all in its glow,
As the admins were somber and feeling quite low.

And what was the cause, that made the line blow?
‘Twas spilled milk from the hand of Mister Bistro!

And I think the jolly feelings will doing nothing but grow today. It's easy to forgive an outage when you check the tracking status on your HMG order and see that it's "Out for delivery".

However, the real reason for the crash was completely and solely the responsibility of Springheeledjack when he attempted to access the site ... If he had just gone to work all would have been fine. That's my story and I am sticking to it.
