How the crap did you not lose a single figure to this army?

I did lose three figures, but the whole card counts unless you lose all of the figures on the card.

The main reason I won this decisively was because I gave Braxis a big group hug from the Gladiatrons while the Blastatrons took care of business. That and my opponent had all three order markers on a now dead Braxis. Allowing me to move over to and surround Q-9 and take care of business there.

Ah, I see. Momentarily forgot about the way HS scores the cards. Pretty impressive that Sky came back from an opening loss like that to make the final 8.

He had a little luck on the way.

Scaper_dude and Skynight were both 3-1 and had to face each other for a spot in the second day.

Scaper dude moves his 4th mass to high ground surrounding Marcus overlooking and in range of Laglor and Braxis.

He is set to get 4 attacks of 5 dice in the next order marker. (Wait then Fire)

Laglor Attacks....
Laglor - 2 skulls and Vydar symbol
4th Mass - Whiff

Laglor - 2 skulls and Vydar symbol
4th Mass - Whiff

Laglor - 2 skulls and Vydar symbol
4th Mass - Whiff

Laglor - 2 skulls and Vydar symbol
4th Mass - Whiff

No joke this is exactly what happened. Scaper dude had some bad luck! He lost all 4 of those 4th mass and then never recovered. Did I mention that Braxis rolled a 20 on acid breath versus a full strength Marcus. Bad breaks for Scaper_dude else we would have seen him on the second day.

Despite my mild resentment towards him for beating up on my son, Skynight was a great guy and good Heroscape player!

His only other loss was to Funrun.

The best line happened when they announced the matchups and they saw that they had to play each other....Skynight, in his best accent says....

"My name is Skynight, your father destroyed me, prepare to die!"

Obviously the last attack didn't have a symbol. Also, it took Braxas 2 rolls to take out Marcus.

P.S. It was an 18, not a 20.
