The Fall of Jandar. part 1
Ch.1
I'm one of importance in General Jandar's army. I am a kyrie that served under Jandar before the start of the battle of all time. I was posted out as the captain of Jandar's forces. I stood at the top of Jandar's forretress. Surveying the lanscape that surrounded the city, something caught my eye. I've also trained under the wise general Ullar. The ability of range was now in my arsenal. In the distance, I could see flags of Utgar raised and ready for battle. It looks like all of Utgar's arsenal has been deployed. I rose into the air and flew towards Jandar's throne room. I arrived and bowed to him and told him of the growing threat. "My lord Jandar," I said in a tired voice. "I have done my daily survaliance and I noticed that almost all of Utgar's allies are heading striaght towards us." "I see, ready all of our forces and prepare to defend the city." (How ironic.) The warning horn was blown and I heard the warriors and civilians prepare for the oncoming threat. This was all of Utgar's forces. Not just the usual assult he sends upon us. This is his whole fleet of monsters and marros. I hurried outside but to turn and see the general readying his armour and sword. "My lord, you do not need to fight. You must protect yourelf." "No." He said in a loud and commanding voice. "This is my city and I should be the one to defend it. Let them come! For they will not breach our walls! To war!" His words gave me confidence. I nodded and rused outside and drew my bow. The fleet was becoming closer than ever. I saw the calvary and and archers posted along the top of the walls. I lifted off and flew towards the wall to help the archers. The hoard of creatures came even closer. I drew my arrow, waiting for the right moment. They came even closer, my allies drew their arrows too, ready for the war. Then I saw him. Flying above with his minions at his sides. Utgar, the symbol of hatred and evil of Valhalla. Now I know why Jandar wanted to partake in this fight, this is the fight that will decide the fate of Valhalla. To be continued...... ![]() |

Ch.2
As the oncoming threat loomed closer to Jandar's forretress, eveyone was thinking the same thing. If we fall, eveything will fall. We could only hope for reinforcements from the other generals. Then it came upon us. "FIRE!" Eveyone released their arrows and and the cry of dying marros rang through our ears. "LET THEM HAVE IT!" I glanced up from my position and say the two dragons flying above us. If they stayed alive, they would destroy our melee back up. "SHOOT THE DRAGONS!" Soon, many of the archers turned towards the dragon and released fire. Me being a kryie, I flew upwards and drew my sword. Ralein and some other kyries flew towards the dragons. Mimring fire blasted me and I flew around the flames. One of the fireballs hit a blasted a kyrie and he fell to the ground in a firey inferno. I took it to my advantage and drove my sword through Mimring's neck. He wailed in pain as he lasily flew away from fight. Dark red blood dripped from the wound. An Utgar ogre was trying to break down the gate. "HOLD THE GATE!" Unfortuantley, one powerful punch from the ogre was enough to break down the huge door. "ATTACK THE OGRE!" I landed on the ground, assuming Ralein and the other kyries could take out the othe dragon. I, being still on the ground, I rused towards the ogre, blade drawn. Sgt. Drake Alexander was also trying to kill the ogre. He swung and the ogre grabbed his sword. I took my risk. I jumped and slashed his head. He grunted as dark green blood spurted from his head. Drake pulled his blade from the lose fist of the ogre. It was coated in green blood to. I turned to still see marros and orcs rushing through the door. Drake drew his sword and rushed into the swarm of monsters. A swog rider galloped towards me. He came closer and I swung my blade at him. After the rider was killed, an archer shot the swog. I turned towards the sky and saw Utgar and his minions fly towards the throne room. To be continued..... ![]() |

Ch.3
As the minions and Utgar flew closer to the throne room, I drew another arrow and shot at one of the minions. The arrow hit the dark kyrie in the back. He fell towards the ground as I jumped off the ground. The skeletal dragon was falling towards the ground. It looks like Ralein killed the beast because she was flying towards him to retrieve her spear. It was sticking out of the beast's neck. Utgar and his two remaining minions pushed on. I landed on the rooftop of a building and shot at another minion. Now there was only two dark kyries were flying to the trone room. I took off again and Ralien joined me with the Utgar chase. They were nearing their destination and we couldn't make it. They touched down and I saw the head of the last minion fly off it's body. Utgar stabbed the knight who killed his minion. We landed and tryed to kill Utgar. Utgar swung at me as rushed towards him. I dodged and Ralein threw her spear. He leaned to the side and drove his sword through Ralien's vulnerable chest. "UTGAR!" All of us turned to see Jandar walking down from his trone. "I'm the one you came for Utgar. Leave the others out of this." Utgar pulled his black sword out of Ralien and pointed it at Jandar. It was stained with kyrie blood. "You really think you can kill me Jandar? All of my lands have been emptied for this final war against you. You will not win!" Jandar drew his sword and blocked Utgar's swing. I stood there, motionles watching the two arch kyries battle out the fate of Valhalla. I never got back to Ralein and I turned to see her lying on the stone floor. She was dead and there was nothing I could do about it. I releazied there was something I can do. Ullar had the powers of Resurrection. I needed to leave this fight to get the reinforcements we need. I turned to leave and started to walk out to the balcony we landed on. I could still hear the clash of swords in the backround. I needed to gather reinforcements for any hope for winning this war. I took off and flew away from the battle. Jandar had a loyal military and I could bring him more. End of part 1 Continued in part two. ![]() |
