making modified versions of official cards

Hi all. I have been looking for a good way to make changes to some of the official cards, jut so we could try some different things and see what we like, but I am having some trouble getting it just right.

Like for example, I have used MS paint to change the point cost of the 4th mass. from 70 to 80, but I can't get the size of the card to shrink down right to be the same as the rest when I print it.

Is MS paint a good thing to use for this?

Any other tips for me when doing this?

You can leave the file at the large size. When you go to print, click the Options or Preferences button. Somewhere in the options window, you should find a "% of normal size" option. Set it to print at a smaller size, like 70% of normal. You will probably need to print it a few times to figure out what the percentage should be to get the exact right size.

hm, thanks for the tip. I will keep that in mind.

Also, what is the best way to change some of the text on a card without making the background look messed up and out of place?

use hcc to make a rough draft of the card you want. then change it to a mspaint. and use the squar cropiing tool. once you have the desierd text or image press ctrl c. next open the ms paint immage if the gard you want to moddafi press ctrl v and the image from the other page should appear in the top left corner. (note do not click on any thing the may deselect the coppied immage and place it somewhere you do not want it.
