Kato Katsuro question - sight

Ok, so instead of using him you can take a turn with both one squad of harquebus and one squad of yari.

Now if you CAN'T see them you can't take a turn with them.

My question is: Is it legal to turn a figure of harquebus or yari so that Kato can THEN see them and take a turn with them??

I say NO!, cos they cant actually move until you take a turn with them, and in any case they should have been placed in his line of sight on their previous turn. If they werent, then bad luck. I did let it happen tho.

I beleive the actual ruling is you can move them or reposition them any way you want on your turn. I could be wrong though.

You're not wrong. If it is your turn, you may adjust any figures you control, whether or not those figures are themselves taking a turn.

True. And it's in the Advanced FAQ on Hasbro's site.

Things you might have missed in the rulebook:
Figures can't pass through friendly engaged figures.
Figures can't attack themselves.

You can touch for turn your figures anytime on your turn. But that never happens lol. Some one always bumps the table and everything moves a little

Before you criticize some one, walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you are a mile away and have their shoes.

I wouldn't even worry about this ruling until the figure is available, anyway, and who knows when that might be. Sigh.

Although it is perfectly legal, I worry a bit about those who touch their figures on their turn just for the sake of doing it.

If you are referring to Grungebob touching Sir Hawthorne just for the sake of doing it, I agree.

Wytefang: We have actually been playing with it
One of us just repainted another samurai and printed the card. Great figure, and has won me a game before.

So its legal.....I dont think its very sporting tho. Reqman.

How is it not sporting? It's in the rules. (To be fair, opening the castle door at any time is in the rules, but that will get you punched in the face. I don't think anyone here would punch you in the face for figure adjustments.)
