It sucks to be cheated on...although I never was cheated on (and never cheated on my relationships), I think I know half of how it feels. I watch movies you know.

okay, here's an update (thanks, HEH for unlocking this)

I broke up with her on the 21st (as explained in the first post), and then had a little talk with her later that night. I don't remember exactly how it went, but i told her "hey, **** happens." At this point, she knew i wasn't taking her back, and she replied "Well, this **** should never have happened." Some more words were exchanged, and somewhere in the conversation, she made the point "I hate Joey now; Joey's dead to me for making this **** happen" (not on those words, but that was the point she go across). After that, i decided that me and her should stay friends, thinking that she meant it and would be avoiding Joey now (You guy's don't know Joey. He's one of those guys who only wants girls for their unique "parts").

About a week later, Kristen (ex) asked me on AIM how i would feel if Joey asked her out. I told her there wasn't anything i could do, aside from urging her to avoid him. She then brought up how she's convinced he's changed (again; she's really defending him). I told her to do what she wants. She then asked if it would make things awkward between us, to which i replied "I don't know; It might, but I'm sure I'll get over it...eventually."

A few days after that conversation, i find out that he has asked her out, and she has accepted (found this out Monday morning at about 2 A.M.). At that moment, i was infuriated; I don't think I've ever been quite that pissed before. I went on AIM and discussed it with my friend Diana (also friends with Kristen); Diana is kind of upset with Kristen as well, since Kristen would constantly go to Diana, worrying that I'm cheating on her, or that I'm going to leave her for whatever reason (mostly that I'm cheating though), but not nearly as upset as i am.

As soon as i found out Monday morning, I removed her from my MySpace page, my FaceBook page, blocked her on AIM, and deleted her from my contacts on my cell phone. Since then, she's sent me 3 messages on MySpace, the first two that Monday, asking why she wasn't on my friends list anymore (both of which I ignored), the third one about 10 minutes ago, wanting to know why I'm not talking to her.

Now, my question to you guys (of you care to answer): By ignoring her completely, am I being too harsh on her? I've never been cheated on before, nor do i know anyone who has, so i'm not sure what the best way to handle this is. I feel that i have every right to ignore her for life, because not only did she cheat on me (which i forgave enough to be willing to remain friends with her), but she took advantage of my forgiveness and lied to my face.

What do you guys think? Should i continue ignoring her, hoping she'll get the picture, or be straight up with her and tell her to **** off?

Seriously bud, you need to forget about posting about it here and simply move on. Tell her cya and be done with it. Nuff said.

If she has lied to you about anything she will just lie again.. you will never truely trust her... just go find someone else. She sounds like one of those "silly girls" that does not have a clue what she wants.. and you do not want to be involved with that, unless your the type to.. hit and run.

moments after i posted my last post here, she sent me another message on myspace; this one reading "**** you too dude. i dun give a **** anymore."

this one ticked me off, so here's how i responded:

**** me? What the **** are you doing here? You're the one who cheated on me, then LIED to me TO MY FACE, AFTER i forgave you as much as I could, and here you are, telling me to **** myself?

You really wanna know why you're not on my friends list anymore? Because i no longer consider you a friend. You wanna know why i'm not talking to you? Because i no longer see you as worth my time.

I'm not sure if you saw it or not, but my page's headline is "Screw me over once, shame on me. Screw me over again, shame on you."

You screwed me over the first time by cheating on me; Shame on me. I forgave you. I'm pretty sure any other guy would have said **** you and never spoken to you again, yet here i am, offering my friendship, because THATS the kind of person i am.

You screwed me over the second time by telling me friday night at the game that you were done with joey, saying he was dead to you, yet here you are, not even 2 weeks after i broke up with you, dating him.

You never loved me. You never gave a **** about me.

Yeah, so I said i'd get over it. That was before it happened. I also said i'd be more forgiving to anyone who cheated on me. I was ****ing wrong. That was said before i was faced with the situation.

I feel like you took advantage of me and my forgiveness. Same with Kenneth. He took my friendship for granted, and look where it's gotten him. i NEVER thought it would come to this, but i'm afraid it has.

I hate to say this, but i don't think i want to talk to you anymore. It was nice knowing you, and when you realize Joey has ****ed you over, you'll be lucky if you get a mere "i told you so" from me.

Wow. I gained some respect for you right there KH. Way to stick it to the man (or woman). I admire that you're cool enough to forgive her after the cheating, cause I would be simply enraged. I think (from what I've heard) that you've handled the situation quite well.
