Love the 4-hex bases, JJ and the Purple Worms look great on them. Heck, all your figures look great! Those Purple Worm figures are begging for a Dune custom.

Newb.

Thanks guys.

Reaper, they bleed over way to bad. To compensate for the 4 hex, which would move just as any other 2 base figure would, counting movment from one space of the base, start to finish, I touched up burrow, and also added to their movement.

All of these have cards coming very, very soon in my custom card thread.

So here are my versions of the Dreadguls (Tarn repaints, and 1 with wings removed):

Here are 2 Syv repaints to be used in a blood archers custom, which use Netherspirit's blood magic special ability, and match the MK paint schemes fairly well:

A wolf repaint:

Mage Knight repaint for my Royal Guard custom:

Here's what the figures originally looked like:

awesome John, I love to see these, great vikings BTW. Sometimes I think people just do not like repaints but I love em. I like them because I know what they were before and I love the changes made to them. again great job

Sacred Granite Guards

Really simple repaint. Hit the entire body with a grey mix (almost dead on with the color of stone hexes). Touched the old flames with green, to make them look like grass. A wash of black and brown, with a touch of jetdry (this really did make a difference with the wash). Finally hit them with a light coat of matte finish to give them that HS figure light sheen. They aren't connected to those bases yet, btw. I just had them stuck onto them while I applied the washes/coats, hence the 2 with peg-feet.

Painted one of my Glaciers to match them, and a custom was born. you can see it in my custom cards thread.

I have several other mods/repaints coming as I whip up stuff for the DFW prize table.

Wow those customs are fantastic!
I love the Achilles figure, the Sacred Granite Guards, The marro on the Skeleton-mammoth and the Royal guard! *i thought i wouldn't remember them all then*
I hope hasbro release a figure similar to the Marro on the skeleton-mammoth that looks the best!

Hey, thanks man. I appreciate it.

The Mammoth Skele is a cheap 1 dollar Yu-Gi-Oh figure. Dunno how easy they are to find nowadays, though.

Marobus:

Bae Pi

Marobus is basically 3 marden heads attached to one marden body. Filled the gaps with putty. Painted it all a dark cream base, then hit it with a black.slightly red wash. Matte finish.

Bae Pi is the samurai with the topknot (which was cut off and and the head was lightly sanded). Cut the sword that was held close to his body off, along with the hand, and cut off both arms at the shoulders. Repositioned the arms. Cut of Drake's hand and Katana off and attached them to the samurai. Cut off sword scabards from the back, and used putty to resculpt the back of the sash, as well as the folds in the front of the robe, where the sword had been. Dark and light green clothing. Flesh color. Silver on the swords. Black wash (which came out a lot more prominent in the face than the pictures show). Matte finish.

Really like the marobus figure! I'll check your thread, but do you have a card for him yet? I'm envisioning a hero that bonds and/or interplays well with the hounds...

And you can see her
Before it cracks and goes out
She throws rocks at streetlights
Keeps the streetlight changer busy
