Well ladies and gentleman, it sounds like it is time to start getting this worked up.

Date: 10/20/2007 (Proposed "National HeroScape Day")

Set Up Start Time: 10:00 - 10:30ish

Tourney Start Time: Nigh Noon until the last prize if pulled from the table

Entry Fee: 10.00$

What to bring with you:
- You army figures and cards
- Any markers (wound / special markers / etc.)
- Turn markers (make sure you check Rÿchean's and verify he doesn't use two 3's, and has an X )
- Dice
- A score sheet from the link at the very bottom of this VERY long post
- Drinks if you want something to sip on during the tourney
- good sportsmanship

Note about Prizes / Prize table:

Everyone should bring a prize for the prize table. Prizes should definitely be something cool and fun, but definitely do not have to be expensive. Past prizes have included expansion packs, master sets, custom figures/cards, custom terrain, manga videos, Simpsons DVDs, other games, comic books, notebooks collecting all Heroscape bios/stories/character cards, laser pointers for line of sight, dice towers, really big maps of the heoscape world, and a cracked coffe mug. Probably the cracked coffe mug wasn't such a hot prize...

At the end of the day participants will take turns choosing prizes from the table starting with the champion and moving down to the player with the worst record. If there are stil prizes on the table after everyone has picked, then picking begins again with the player with the worst record.

Everyone brings a prize, everyone leaves with a prize.

For location....Gilligan's is definitely the way to go. I think everyone is going to love it. Food and drinks will be a non-issue for us to worry about.

For entrance fees...that's going to depend on how many entrants we have.

For maps....I have no problem using some of the maps from GenCon, but I'd love to see a Swamp terrain map added to the mix. And I'll volunteer to bring a couple of the tourney maps (which ones can be determined later - I've got plenty of terrain).

My only real question is, "Can we have a get together before this?" I want some Scape and I want it now.

We need to use SOTM rules as there are some changes that are in play now. The free flip on double spaced figures being the most prevalent.

Also, if we can do up some SOTM paper Glyphs for the common attack and unique attack so we can take the standard attack glyph out.
