dead and bonding

I tried searching but found nothing so here is my question. If you palce a turn marker on a card then all the figures on it die can you still us the bonding when that turn comes around?

If all the figures on that card are dead...then so are your remaining turn markers on that card.

Nope, once the figure is removed from the board, further uses of the special abilities on the card are not allowed (unless the ability specifically states that it does continue - e.g. Finn's Attack Spirit.)

Also, cases like Morsbane negating a figure and then Morsbane being removed from the board, result in the prior negation continuing, as the text for Rod of Negation states that the targeted abilities remain negated for the rest of the game.

well what about the minions of utgar with their orders of utgar. If all minions are dead then can you still use Taelord by putting markers on the minion card?

When i first read the rules i thought they said that the order markers stay on that card and are reveled in turn. Since the Orders of Utgar power is use another card instead of this card you could still use Taelord, (any reason to make him worth drafting you know) by using the turn markers from the dead minions. Of course, once that round is over then the Minions card cannot recieve anymore order markers.

I wasn't so quick to dismiss your confusion, as I thought that was where you were coming from. I'll double check the rules, but I think you are correct in that one leaves the order markers on the card, unrevealed, until the turn comes around for that marker, in order to keep the enemy guessing. But no, even though the order marker is on the card, when that order marker's position in the round comes around, if all the figures on that card have been destoyed then the abilities on that card cannot be used (unless, as noted earlier, the ability specifically says it can. As of now I know of no official abilities that behave that way.)
