Need help on a scenario
Im looking to work out a map based on the infinity gauntlet. It would involve collecting runes and adding them to your players card, and gaining the power from that infinity gem. Then, another rune would play the role of the gauntlet. Once you have all seven peices (Gems and gauntlet) you would have full power.
What I need help in is what runes to use for the gems, and what the powers will be. The gems are Space Mind Soul Reality Time Power It have to be viable with in the game, but still powerfull enough to feel their powers. |

Heroscape is a simple game. 7-8 interchangable themed powers is a lot to remember for one scenario. I would say, use 7 face-down glyphs for the gems and a yellow glyph for the gauntlet. When you land on a glyph, you take it. When you kill a glyph holder, you rob his corpse (maybe he can respawn?). If playing with teams, glyphs are transferrable. To kill a character, you must do wounds equal to his life plus his gems. Unfinished gauntlet grants something good everyone can use and that's easy to remember, like Frenzy or stealth armor 15. Assemble the infinity gauntlet, you instantly win the game.
If you absolutely must use all different glyphs, I would put a little masking tape on each one and just write the bonus it grants. Don't make them all special abilities, go mainly with stat boosts. Space +1 range if range is already >4 Mind +2 defense Soul +2 life Reality +1 d20 Time +1 move Power +1 attack Gauntlet gain Frenzy Assemble all, you win. |

I know nothing of this comic book series so my power ideas will likely not fit very well but these came to mind...
Space, no clue what this is in comic... Mind, On any of your turns you may swap 2 of your unrevield order markers. This asumes mind gives some one the power of better strategy. Soul, When taking a wound Roll the D2 to try and ignore it with X amount. Reality, umm... Time, Figure may re-roll any roll D20, attack, or defense, may only be used ONCE per round. And +10 to initiative Power, Figure may add 3 to either; Attack, Defense, or Move, may only be used ONCE per round. Gauntlet, no clue what it is in comic ego, gain the powers of the rest of your active army... but they all abandon you and you can no longer use them?! lol... |
