If anyone gets a chance, they may want to head over to Circuit City. They are running a killer sale on all kinds of PS2, XBox, Gamecube, Gameboy, and DS games for $8.97 apiece. Some games include Half Life 2, GTA - San Andreas, Gun, Farcry - Instincts, Incredible Hulk - Ultimate Destruction, Midnight Club 3 - Dub Edition, and a bunch of others.

I've been considering picking this game up - seen it relatively cheap used ($7-$9) - any opinions? I'm assuming that your brief review, IM, is a positive one?

Rise of Legends
F.E.A.R. (Oh yeah! Been awhile since I jumped in a video game...)

Todd, I really liked Gun, but was ultimately very disappointed in the quantity of content. It's much like GTA, but Old West. It plays smoothly enough, and is a ton of fun - until it just up and runs out. If they had about four times the number of missions and story-related hijinks, it would have infinitely better. As it is, at 9 bucks, that's a great deal for a very fun (if too short) game.

Templar, I'll send you a friend invite next time I'm on. I actually have a really long friends list, but they're all people over 25, from the 2old2play site. I play about 4 nights a week - I love that game. I tend to avoid ranked games - people cheat less in Action Sack. I hate cheaters. Bridgers annoy me more than anything, or modders. The worst, though, are delevelers - which you don't see at all in unranked games.

I go through about a game every two weeks.

Just finished: Hitman: Blood Money; Kingdom Hearts 2; Warcraft III & W3: Frozen Throne.

Still playing with: Civilization 4, Oblivion

Looking forward to: The next patch of D&D Online which should make the game worth getting (August, I'm told); SPORE-OMFGFOMGFOMGOFMG.

Jormi, that game is WAY better in multiplayer. I played it with my wife, and we had a blast. You can really coordinate your attacks - slow the dudes with Iceman so Juggernaut can smash them, or hurl foes with Jean Grey so your helper can blast them with Scarlet Witch.

Great game. I loved it.
