Blackbeard

In real life, Blackbeard the Pirate went down swinging, with several bullets in him that should have taken him out of commission earlier. This reminds me of the "fight until -9 hit points" rule in 1st edition D&D. In this spirit, his stats could be:

Blackbeard - follows Einar

Human, Unique Hero, Pirate, Fearless, Medium 5

Life 6, Move 5, Range 6, Attack 3, Defense 3

Going Down Fighting
When Blackbeard has been reduced to 0 Life by wounds, you may immediately take another turn with Blackbeard. Immediately after you take this turn, Blackbeard is destroyed.

Pirate Rally
All pirates you control gain one extra move.

Pirate Attack Enhancement
All pirates adjacent to Blackbeard gain one attack die.

Any thoughts?

Hmm, cool. Any ideas for pricing? I would maybe base him off marcus's cost.

6 x 9 = 42

I am thinking he would be about 100 points, but that is a real ballpark right now.

I'd say he should cost a bit more. Mabey 125 pts.

I guess I'll have to playtest him both with and without pirate squads.

Pirates... and Ninjas under the same army wouldn't work. Ninjas hate Pirates and Pirates hate Ninjas. Robots hate them both. That is why Ninjas and Robots are separate, and that is why Pirates aren't in Heroscape.

I love this idea. I could make a card for it. I have a fig and everything.

How do you know robots hate them? They don't have feelings? Besides, Valuard hates the Tarns, and the Tarns hate him, and theorectically they're in the same alliance.
