Riders of Valhalla
What kinds of Marro creatures do you see coming in the future?
(Post Wave eight)
The Marro seem to be lords over all kinds of beasts. They have a dragon, a horse thing, big hounds, little whatever thingys from SotM, a giant, the little gray mount things from wave 8, and a worm. (I think I got them all) So what will they bring to the table next?

Here's another idea that goes with this thread. The Marro ride pretty much anything. Orcs ride Dinosaurs and swog. Jandar has human cavalry. Ullar will have one elf riding a winged horse. So...

What will Einar and Aquilla's followers ride into combat? And will Ullar get a mounted squad?

I agree with a lot of people in that there needs to be mounted Samurai, and possibly a war elephant. Giant lizards or scorpions might be good rides for Aquilla, but what will ride them?

I can see smaller, more intelligent bugs. I've been longing for a bipdial, or at least intelligent, insect race in Heroscape. I can see some bug-creatures, riding scorpions and spiders...maybe a 'spider queen'?

I gotta agree. One thing though, what is so great about Marro? I like them kinda, but I don't see why they are becoming so big. Is it because everyone turns against Utgar in the story and they need something that is like another team but isn't?

I'm hoping this new Aquilla general opens the giant insect floodgates. I want creatures riding on all types of giant mantises, hornets, scorpions, you name it.
