Just To Keep people update on Onacara,

Someone from this site had given me his email address, and he said this...

"Nothing has come back . I will call my wife tomorrow to get me the tracking info to pass along to you. If it doesnt show i will just refund you the money on Friday and then have to fight the postal service to get both packages back.

This is ridiculous....(not you...this transaction) I have shipped stuff to Amsterdam and it only took 3 days and there was not a single problem.

I have never received any type of photo copied receipt or tracking number from him, and this was supposedly the 3rd time he re-sent.

He has NOT refunded my my money either. If anyone knows him please talk to him for me, otherwise I'm going to have to go through paypal to get my money back.


Also, does someone get banned for something like this? Or what happens on this site when someone rips someone else off?

I know he's going through stress...but this deal is back from August, so I feel like I've been really patient and caring with him so far.

Oh, and he had me send payment to his friend 'Adam White' who he owed money, so when I get a refund it will be leave his friend out $60 bucks as well.

This is why i'm more adamant about getting him to refund me, so someone else isn't screwed over.

The admins won't do anything officially to him, they wash their hands of these transactions. Grungebob's offer to help was very kind but not, I don't think, made while wearing his "administrator" hat. I could be wrong.

I had a similar problem once but I successfully found the guy & took care of it off-list.

This is a very informal marketplace. I have had more than my share of good transactions here, and even the one where I found the guy, he took care of me with some extra goodies & I won't complain about that one.

But when I bid on eBay I never bid more than I'd be able to tolerate flushing down the toilet, and I'd just suggest that people take a similar approach to this even-less formal marketplace.

Re-Read what i wrote...never said it was a false account. I believed to be a real account, but if i had to get my money back from paypal, it would of been from both his account, and onacara's because onacara had me give a partial payment to him.

..Thanks for the good sentiment though.. ultimately, I am glad he refunded the money, I'm sure there is more behind the scenes that I know, and there might be some personal reasons why this deal went sour.

The dog has some fleas since I forgot to use Frontline this month, so maybe so!
