Custom Units go in the Customs subfolder.
Wal-Mart, Traget, Toys R Us, K-Mart and some hobby stores carry HS expansion packs Welcome aboard. |

First of all, welcome to the site and the addiction. Aldin shall be along to give you the official greeting shortly.
To find a figure for your character, you can look through this thread: http://heroscapers.com/community/showthread.php?t=132 People drop in that thread from time to time to post figures they've seen from other minis games. You can also get some ideas by visiting the customs forum and checking out the customs already made by others. I also have some links to some sites that sell minis, they provide good pictures you can use. I'll see if I can dig them up later. Now, once you've found the figure you want to use, you will want to create the card to go with it. Here's a link to an excellent tutorial created by JustJohn on how to make cards for your customs using all free programs: http://heroscapers.com/community/showthread.php?t=4731 As for where to find Heroscape outside of online, as far as I can tell, the best places seem to be Toys R' Us (TRU) and Target (others can correct me if I'm wrong). However, if you reconsider and decide you do want to buy off of online, you can check out House Mouse Games. The person who runs the site, Sandra, is a member of this community and a fine one at that. I have not ordered from her myself yet; I hope to in the future, but it is not hard to find those here who will sing her praises. Anyways, once again, welcome to our fine community. |

The game can also usually be found at Wallmart, though I'm loathe to report this as I usually regard Wallmart as an unethical empire of evil.
That said, Heroscape is the only thing I've ever purchased from them. Darn my addiction ... C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Wal-Mart's definitely got the lowest prices, no matter how unethical an evil empire it may be, $10 a pack is nice. Guess who's back, back again? Chilli's back. Tell Skahen. |

For some reason it took me three trys to get the site to reconize me, I ssiged up twice as spyhunter and then tryed tyguy and it worked. At wal-mart and toys all they had was nakita agents and some soulborgs when I am looking for deadeye dan mainly.

Maybe some sort of spyware protection?
C3G can be played with official Heroscape, but it's not recommended.

Your best bet in finding a specific pack is online. |

Yeah...I think Wal-Mart and Target are without question the best places to get Heroscape. Unfortunately they are sometimes slow to get the new waves.

I've had good luck finding collection four in K-mart/Sears Grand. You may want to try there to find your Deadeye Dan.
I'm aware that stock varies greatly by region, but from my travels throughout South Florida I've been noticing that Toys R Us is mired in Collection 5, Target/Wal-mart generally has collection 6, and Sears Grand/K-Mart has been pretty consistenly carrying collection 4. It is possible I live in some vortex of convenience, however. |
