Here is a couple of pics. First one is Shredder vs Leonardo.
Second is Don vs a ninja. You will notice I haven't glued on his hand yet and you can see Leatherhead in the background (haven't glued his arms on yet). I am really looking forward to painting these guys!! ![]() ![]() ON A SIDE NOTE: I have also done a card for some Martian Tripods (ala War of the Worlds) but they aren't in scale with the rest of Heroscape. But I have a bunch of 6mm Brittish Redcoats that will be in scale with the tripods, so expect a post soon about using Heroscape in different scales... "Hi Ho, what new devilry is this?" - this may have been said if Kermit the Frog and Boromir were combined and set loose upon the world... probably not though. |

I have revised Michaelangelo in light of comments suggested by forum members and him also being on trial shortly.

Ok, here we go
In an effort to get some Ninja Turtles in scale with HS, I have put my (second time only) modelling and sculpting skills to the test. First of all, I started with a Eureka Miniature's Turtle Archer, cut his head off, sculpted a new one, sculpted some leg, arm and head bands, straightened his bow into a staff and painted. This is the result... ![]() (perhaps a mould could be made so others could use him??? Let me know what you think. (Please be kind, it's only my second time sculpting... and the first time was a saddle for a dragon!!!) Cheers, Ben. Off with his head!
![]() I'd love to see some more photo's of his sides and back as well... (next to a HS figure to gauge height?) The only part that looks a little off is his non-weapon hand, but that may be just the angle of the pic. |

I'll pop some up tomorrow. His arms I had nothing to do with as they were already on the figure. I feel they are a bit short, but there isn't much I can do about it. It does look worse from the front though. Cheers, Ben. B&K's TMNT Customs - Leonardo sculpted now! Don angles t
Hi guys,
I've posted some different angles of Donatello and I have been busy creating the greatest of them all... Leonardo! I put them on my blog, so instead of just uploading them here as well, I'll direct you to Boromir and Kermit's Batcave to check them out. I wish I could have done Don as a bit more dynamic (as someone mentioned) but as my sculpting skills are rather limited, I can only work off existing models, and that one was holding a bow that could be changed into a staff. The Leonardo model is more dynamic because the pose is suited to holding two katana. Let me know what you guys think. Cheers, Ben. I have finished painting Leonardo and I'm really happy with how he came out. Sorry about the dark photo, just wanted to get one up quickly.
Here is a size comparison between Captain America (official fig), Leonardo (Sculpted) and Batman (TNT custom Heroclix fig). ![]() I think he is to scale. I'm hoping to cast a few of these, but want to finish out the turtles first. Michaelangelo will be next as he is being TNTed as we speak and then Raphael. I have to check if my converted Splinter is the right scale for them now. *fingers crossed* (goes to check) Maybe Splinter's a bit big (cause he's crouching and almost the same size as Leo) I'll have to come up with something else. Thanks Johnny139, the swords may be a bit too big, but it's not easy (being green)

Ive been a TMNT fan for many years now, these are pretty nice. Ive been considering making my own Turtles but wanted to wait until I had some nice figures. I saw some at a toy store that would have been perfect if they werent just a bit too tall. I was sooo disappointed. Cant wait to see the others painted up.

Re: B&K's TMNT Customs - Leonardo painted and comparison pho
Sorry to bring up an old thread (from maybe 2 years back), but I was wondering if anyone has a still working link for Michaelangelo? Of all four turtles, he seems to be the only one who doesn't have a still working link around the site somewhere. Even his link in the A-Z thread is dead. I was just wondering.
