A word on prize structure -
There will be prizes for First, Second and Third places.
There will NOT be guaranteed prizes beyond that.
This does remove the expectation that some prizes
will be supplied by players.

With Heroscape product getting increasingly scarce
the prizes will be as follows.
First place - Pet Shop Comics Gift Certificate = 50% of prize pool
Second place - Pet Shop Comics Gift Certificate = 30% of prize pool
Third place - Pet Shop Comics Gift Certificate = 20% of prize pool

Additional prizes are always welcome and will be handed out on a superlative basis - (i.e. Furthest Distance Traveled, Best Sportsmanship, Most points scored against Gordon.)

With GenCon out of the way, we can play, well, whatever!

Okay, not quite whatever...

Anything from the BoV map pool is automatically allowed (except for Ruins of Pine Tree Marsh...that map is always banned as far as I'm concerned, unless we're playing Headquarters format).

Also allowed automatically will be Stygian Rift and Sirocco.

Anything else requires approval. Send me a PM or post it here if you don't mind public feedback.

The glyphs will be whatever the map specifically requires. In the absence of a specified glyph in the map's instructions, I'll use this year's GenCon glyph pool (both Power and Treasure).


Please post what you're bringing so we don't double up on maps.

I think I'll play Glads/Blasts so my opponent is forced to play a two hour match against me (those who faced me in Day 1 of the GenCon main event hated how slow I played; their complaints were legit, I was pretty sad)

Rolling Rumble at 560? I can easily beat Deroche's Glad/Blast army for most annoying matchup in this format: Rats x 5 + Thanos.

Strategy: die -- scatter -- rejected by death. Repeat as necessary until opponent quits or spontaneously combusts.

You are guaranteed to go undefeated. Your final record will be: 1-0. Then you will be tarred, feathered, and launched from the premises with a catapult.

Harvesting will not be until the end of Sept/beginning of October, and since I'm doing all of Kenny's work while he's at UK, I'll be there.

By the way, does anyone have 2 squads of Repulsers? Because I'll need them.

I'll bring Road Rampage since I already have the map set up.
