Small charity auction for my family and son, Noah

My son, Noah is back in the hospital and is very ill. Some of you may recall that he was born with some intestinal defects but those were promptly repaired only to be replace by the need for a Liver Transplant, which he got about 1.5 years ago. He'd been doing well until about 3-4 months ago, when he got an Abscess and got sick and then developed this weird white growth in his mouth (not Thrush). It didn't get better and he was in a lot of pain and not eating and losing weight.

All of which is very bad for him, especially with his anti-rejection meds which lower his immune system a bunch.

We had to fly him back up to Minneapolis to the Amplatz Hospital for treatment and right now it appears that he may have some form of Lymphoma that transplant kids get called PTLD. We're still awaiting test results at this time. We've been living in the Hospital (my wife, Tracy and I) for the past month and I'm not able to return to work down in Florida (where I've currently been working in Tampa at MacDill AFB). So they're having a small charity auction for me on Boardgamegeek.com.

Please check it out here if you wouldn't mind:

Also, one of the game donaters (anyone can bid or donate a game for the auction) has said that he's giving the proceeds to his auction to our auction, and it includes some good HeroScape stuff and some Monsterpocalypse stuff. Check it out here:

Prayers for Noah would be appreciated. Here's a current pic of him in the hospital from a few days ago:

I prayed for your son a year and a half ago and will continue to do so now. I hope that the auction goes well and that Noah is able to recover.

I didn't see anything in the auction that grabbed me, but I'd like to help if I can. Do you have a PayPal account you can accept funds at? I can't spare much, but maybe others will kick in, too!

Re: Small charity auction for my family and son, Noah

We do have one but right now Paypal has put a hold on it due to several batches of donated funds. I'm trying to get it sorted out as they think it's "suspicious" but for now I'm having people avoid using it.

If you're really motivated to send funds, we could use Money Orders (since they're easy to cash up here - our main problem up here is that my bank, Navy Federal Credit Union, has no branches in Minnesota)...but that's up to you.

Some folks have mailed some to us already care of my cousin (I stay at his house on the days that I'm not at the hospital, just to get a bit of a mental break).

The address is:

Anthony DuLac
c/o Sam Murschel
5370 7th Street NE.
Fridley, Minnesota
55421

Thank you!

I am currently strapped for funds, but I made my BGG friends with money aware of this auction. I am also keeping your family in my prayers.

I just donated some cash via the BGG auction. Hope they raise you a lot of funds, and best of luck to your son, you, and the rest of your family! As a parent, I can imagine what you've been going through. Peace and love to you all!

Thanks, man. We got good news recently in that he does NOT have PTLD so that was fantastic. Right now they're basically just trying to get him healthy and strong again and sort out a few loose ends, health-wise. Then hopefully sometime in the next few weeks he can go home again!

I can't do anything monetarily, and I am so sorry for that. I'm on disability right now. But every day I offer my gratitude into the world! And I will offer gratitude that your child exists. I am grateful for you, for your friendship here and that you have a family. I offer you a meager crystal of the soul of me.
