motoko_k's maps

Hello there. Now I read on this forum for quite a time. And since some weeks I started to post. Now I think it's time to post some of my maps. Some are bigger, and others are not so big.

This is my first post with pictures inside. If there is anything wrong, please notify me, I will try to fix it.

ATM I own:
13x RotV, 3x SotM, 2x BftU, 5x RttFF (+1 15-Tree), 3x VW, 3x TT (+36 Bonus 2hex Snow not from Waves), 3x TJ, 8x FotA and the tiles from Wave 1-13 (except 6; when there were tiles in boosters)

Thx, that's the fact i actually love too. But it take a while to play on it. I have two additional versions of this map. 1 with a larger icy mountain (and a lake at the top), and 1 with a larger swamp area with more jungle and a marro hive. I posted none of them because the icy mountain costs 2 TT more which I don't have and not want to buy with the high prices. The second versions need 2 SotM and 5 TJ more. And 5 TJ are too expensive for me, too. ^.^ So I only posted the version I can build with my pieces.

New Map "Forgotten Ruins" added. A smaller map. We build and played it yesterday. It was a fast battle with many ranged and some flying units.

Re: motoko_k's maps

I'm kinda surprised you don't have more feedback on these. I really like the first one, it seems like you could get some pretty good scenarios going on it too, with the icy mountain cave and everything. Outstanding maps motoko.

Nice to hear. I added the building instruction as PDF in the spoiler of the map at the first post. But please read the important information below the download link. Without it you could possible be a bit confussed looking at the building instruction.

Oh I'm not allowed to upload something at the download section. So I uploaded the instructions at rs.com. I hope that's not forbidden. :-/

Celesthia is awesome! Great job and +rep for that one. The image isn't working for Forgotten Ruins.

At the moment I don't have more maps, but the building instructions for the forgotten Ruins. More maps follow as soon as we play again and use a map that's worth to post. ^.^

Re: motoko_k's maps

So I added a new map: High Grounds

I saw a map on BoardGameGeek and I loved it. But the author used 18 RotV and 6 of each Terrain Expansion. I don't own so much, so I rebuild the character of the map. A bridge, high cliffs and a dungeon part. It's only 1m*1m but needs almost every tile I own due to the high. The roads help figures to move a large distance despite the high differences.

Have fun with it. We didn't play on it yet, but plan to play at the weekend.
