I downloaded the first three, but none of them gave me the directions. They'd open up VS, but nothing else came up.
Full disclosure: I'm useless with computers, so it could very easily be operator error. |

When I click to open the file, it opens VS but not the file. However, I can open the file the normal way with the Open dialog. The same is true for any time I download my maps, too, btw.

Call it my holy grail: a fun, competitive map that uses nothing but a single BftU. Here's the newest stab.

Small thing first-you have a water tile by the yellow start zone that floated up to level 2. The level 3 spaces that are 6 flying spaces away from the SZ and 5 spaces away from the opponent make me a little nervous about Zelrig, Nilf and Mimring, but then again, if you pack your SZ you get what you deserve. Overall looks pretty good. Last edited by Killometer; February 18th, 2015 at 01:00 AM. Reason: *Sez the guy who *was* working on his own holy grail 'til he had to pillage all his TJ from it to try out someone else's map. |

Re: Typhon2222's Maps — .hsc files now available (July 20)
Built Pluto's Plume in preparation of my tournament on Saturday. I will say this about it: You know you're building a map using Marvel and Tundra when you're trying to build Level 1 with the largest tiles first and you keep lying down 2-hexes.
The map looks great! The combination of VW and TT is quite fragile, and it seems like you've got 3 maps, Typhon, that blend them well. The Molten Lava SZs are quite fascinating, even to this day. Good work, and I can't wait to see it in action come Saturday! Last edited by Sheep; January 29th, 2017 at 11:12 PM. Reason: Oh, I did have to get those grass tiles bandaged up with some glyphs quickly after I finished building... Much better ;) |
