On the upside, though, I played three great games on it while I had it built in my room, and I loved its quick and bloody play! However, this stings twice as much - I was looking forward to rushing my Cultists across the board at my hapless opponent.

EDIT: For the first time ever I'm hoping we don't have a bunch of walk-up players - my friend had a personal crisis and is unable to bring a map. We won't be able to support more than ten, eleven if someone takes a bye each game.

Sorry to hear that your Cultists were deprived of their road rushing at the tourney, elvenwizard. "Quick and bloody" gave me a chuckle; thanks for posting.

Folks, Dropbox is acting a bit wonky for me. Could someone download the VirtualScape (.hsc) files for a few of my maps, and see if they'll load correctly for you in VirtualScape?

I downloaded the first three, but none of them gave me the directions. They'd open up VS, but nothing else came up.

Full disclosure: I'm useless with computers, so it could very easily be operator error.

When I click to open the file, it opens VS but not the file. However, I can open the file the normal way with the Open dialog. The same is true for any time I download my maps, too, btw.

Small thing first-you have a water tile by the yellow start zone that floated up to level 2.

The level 3 spaces that are 6 flying spaces away from the SZ and 5 spaces away from the opponent make me a little nervous about Zelrig, Nilf and Mimring, but then again, if you pack your SZ you get what you deserve.

Overall looks pretty good.

Yesh -- that's the map's single asymmetrical space.

Indeedy. The consolation is that any dragon (or Raelin) who flies up there will be immediately rushed and wracked: the opponent can get multiple figures adjacent, in shadow, in a single turn.

No dragging heels on this map anyway.

Built Pluto's Plume in preparation of my tournament on Saturday. I will say this about it: You know you're building a map using Marvel and Tundra when you're trying to build Level 1 with the largest tiles first and you keep lying down 2-hexes.

The map looks great! The combination of VW and TT is quite fragile, and it seems like you've got 3 maps, Typhon, that blend them well.

The Molten Lava SZs are quite fascinating, even to this day. Good work, and I can't wait to see it in action come Saturday!
