The actual army leaves some points, but with a strong hero and some anti- range units it looks okay, IMO.

$45 is too much money to add to an army, I think. How bout this instead?

Brad will be happy that there's a Cyprien army, though if I know him, he'll bring Cyprien as his 150 Point card. I posted his Mass Suicide army on the front page, along with the other suggestions. I'll keep a running list of them there, so that players know what units they can't include.

Also remember guys - you get to enter 2 armies into the pool, and you also get to enter 2 armies for each person coming with you.

EDIT: Also, I obviously reserve the right to assign your army with a possibly witty title.

Wait I though that you paid extra money for how many points over the army went, not how many points it didn't fill.

It goes both ways. If an army is under 400 Points, it comes with extra money to get it up to 400. If it's over, there's an extra fee to buy it.

I don't want to go under 380 because I don't want to add more than $20 to an army. I'd like all of the armies to be pretty close to each other in terms of Points, but I left the 40 Point window because it's really tough to build 40 or so themed armies to fit exactly one Point total. I haven't really come up with an army yet that I can't fit into this window somehow.

Also, I changed the Time Limit to 45 minutes (down from 50). There are smaller armies, and the extra 25 minutes should account for the second Auction. Since Time Limit Tony will most likely be in the field, I know every round will actually take 45 minutes, unless a teenage girl buys a Braxas build and melts his entire army.

And, I think in Rounds 3-5, after the money glyphs are done, we'll try the new Treasure Glyphs. There will be at least one on each map, and they'll be randomly selected for each map each Round from this pool:

Heroic Rune x3
Talisman of Defense x3
Potion of Healing x3
Ring of Protection x3
Whetstone x3
Elixir of Haste x3
??? Glyph in Heroes of Faerun x3 (I'll probably need to borrow 2 of these, or I'll just proxy Brandar's Chests)
Bolt of the Witherwood x1 (everyone cool with that?)

Because each map needs just one glyph, I'm going to look for tourney maps with just one central glyph to use. If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to post them.

It was really fun and I think it would work well in this tourney because of its treasure glyphs and size.

Hmmm.... what sets does that need to be built? 1 Sotm, 1 TJ and 1 MS3?

EDIT: I found his thread - it is those 3. That's pretty much perfect for the terrain I have left, so I'll add it.

I was only gonna do one treasure glyph per map, but I suppose I could do multiple on some if we get some good maps for it, and I do want to get some MS3 maps in here.

I'm thinking about trying to build a map that just uses 2x MS3 and some Road and adding it to the pool. A map like this that uses 1x MS3 would be good then, since I have 3 of them.

EDIT: I should be able to build everything above, along with Ember Canyon Road and a map that just uses BftU x2. That will account for 16 players. If we get more than that, I'll start looking into other maps. If anyone has any suggestions for additions / deletions, don't hesitate to post them.

I'll add the first and the last for now - I don't want to steal the Gorillinators out of a potential Laglor+Nakitas+Gorillas army just yet.

Also, I think it might be better to put the Marro Warriors with some other Marro, but I'll leave them in for now with the caveat that, if someone can come up with a better themed army for them to post it. Maybe 2x Fishsticks with the Hydras? (or 1x Fishticks and some money)
