Primary Weapon - Double-Edged Sword

Secondary Weapon - Longbow

Close Combat - 2 Daggers

Backpack - Suit of Medieval Armor (Try and bite me NOW )

Transportation - Horse, or if the animals were dead as well... I would carhop.

I'd go for the long haul, no ammo to run out of, (I could make arrows) and no fuel to run out of. In every Zombie movie I've ever seen the survivors were killed because they were bitten randomly, ran out of ammo, or ran out of gas. Sucky way to die.

backpack- survial knife, ramen, flashlight, two kuri, water filters, cell phone, MP3 player, and spare cloths.

and any surviers can tag along as long as they dont have any wounds if they have wounds they stay where they are they try to follow me they die

As for me...

Primary weapon - anything automatic, like a SMG

Secondary - Compound Bow (for the arrowmaking, I really like that idea)

Close Combat - katana

Who needs a backpack when you have this:

To all categories my answer is this:

Clothing - Regular clothing under chainmail armor (Take that zombies)

Weapons - 10mm Pistol or a Uzi, an a assault rife, and a machete (Both a weapon and a tool)

Back Pack - Millartary Food Rations or what ever you call them (Quick food & Dont taste too bad either from my experince) Ammo and lots of it, Flint, matches, and other fire starting tools, Sewing Kit (for stitching up cuts or mending clothing) Flashlight with lots of batterys or maybe one of the those ones you shake.

If I had a way to generate electricity I would set up 4 tesla coils to a power source and have myself a electric barrier.

Transportation: what ever I could find.

The first thing I would do is get the chainsaw and get a backpack and fill it with stuff I need.
Next is to head to the police station (it is just down the street) to pick up a gun and stock up on ammo, than I would find a two story building and destroy the stairs on my way up then I’d rearrange the second story to make it a fortress during the day I would gather supplies and look for survivors, During the night I would defend my fortress.

Close combat 1: Hatchet. (Weapon, tool, and medium ranged weapon in an emergency)

Close combat 2: Whatever's lyin' around!

Backpack: Grenades! Lots of grenades! Canned food, bottled water. Matches and lighter. (In this situation, there would be plenty of materials to burn, so the backpacking stove is a bit of a burden) Skillet. Extra ammo. Flashlight.

Transportation: Dirtbike! I'm used to riding them, and they're fast as heck... I'd use what I had with me to setup an HQ, and gather extra materials, ammo, food, and fuel during the day.

Backpack: glyph of Healing and a glyph of revive. maybe an X order marked turned into a 4 to sneak in an extra attack.

transportation: I was going to go with theracus but then decided on Brunak so we can kick some ass on the ride!

I am surprised no one has mentioned a shark suit yet. If sharks cannot bite through, zombies defiantly cannot get through. There is your best battle wear right there.

But any heavy armor would become cumbersome.

And shark suits are basically chainmail, I believe.
