During a routine scan around the research station Gagarin Memorial, Roman Zakharov looked at the monitors and grimaced, his gut feeling telling him that something was wrong. Ten minutes later the patrols stopped responding, and once the civilian population became aware there was mass panic. The native lifeforms had, somehow undetected, broken through the outer perimeter and in ten more minutes had begun writhing against the station walls. Zakharov, fully expecting the habitation dome to fail at any moment, steeled his nerves and donned his emergency suit. The alarm had been raised, but help would not get there in time. He took his position behind the desk, security guards readied outside, and then in a blinding flash of light his world warped and shifted, and when his eyes readjusted they saw... nothing familiar.

A voice rang out, “Welcome to Valhalla.”

The Soulborgs are nothing if not inventive - and most have a distressing tendency to be callous. In the Mariedians, who they overthrew, they see not only a nuisance, but also a resource to be harvested - be it in slave camps mining asteroids for the raw materials to expand their armies of machines, or simply being recycled, mulched for organic materials or drained for emergency stores of energy. In the Centurions, however, they have found a new use for the Mariedians.
Through cybernetic implants they strengthen the host organism, the melding of metal and flesh proving stronger, more durable and more adaptable than either alone. Then, they place a machine in the host’s brain, suppressing the Mariedian’s personality behind waves of code, leaving it entirely dormant, and the now enhanced body completely subservient to their will - killing machines without the faintest hint of conscience, fear, emotion or desire. To those Soulborgs who have developed systems of thought mimicking those of regular organisms, the irony of turning the Mariedians’ former comrades into their greatest nightmare is an added bonus. Though some Centurions are strong-willed enough to manage to counteract their programming and join the resistance, or are captured and reprogrammed into the weapons of desperate or morally shady resistance groups, these remain rare occurances. Seeing these heartless warriors, Luselene knew that their complete lack of anything that could be considered emotion, combined with their terrifying prowess in battle, made them the perfect agents of the rigid, uncompromising order she espoused.
The Cryo Centurion is only one such variant of these super-soldiers. Normally deployed on the ice-cold moon of Isadora, these enforcers are also used to pacify groups of Mariedians on Alpha Prime itself. Strapped into Cryo Suits designed to adapt to sub-zero climates, allowing it to fare better under those conditions, a Cryo Centurion is also armed with a Cryo Blaster, a weapon used to freeze its target, normally leaving ice build-ups on the victim’s body. Those who survive this process are captured and used as more raw materials for the Soulborgs - those who do not are considered no great loss.

After attacking with a special attack, Cryo-Judge may immediately attack one additional time with a special attack. Criminals roll 1 fewer defense die against Cryo-Judge's attacks.

CRYOGENIC PLASMA SPECIAL ATTACK
Range 2 + Special. Attack 4.
Choose a figure to attack. You may also choose 3 spaces in a straight line from the targeted figure. All figures on those spaces are also affected by this special attack. Roll attack dice once for all affected figures. Each figure rolls defense dice separately. Figures with the Ice Resistant special power are not affected by this Special Attack.

CRYOGENIC DARTGUN SPECIAL ATTACK
Instead of attacking normally with Cryo-Judge, you may choose up to two different figures within 5 clear sight spaces of Cryo-Judge. One at a time, roll the 20-sided die for each chosen figure. If you roll 9 or higher, the chosen figure receives 1 wound. If an opponent's Unique Hero without the Ice Resistance Special Power receives at least one wound from Cryogenic Dartgun Special Attack, roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 16 or higher, you may remove one unrevealed Order Marker at random from that Unique Hero's Army Card.

CRYOGENIC FIELD GENERATOR
When an opponent's figure that was not within 4 clear sight spaces of Cryo-Judge prior to moving ends its movement within 4 clear sight spaces of Cryo-Judge, you may immediately roll the 20-sided die. If you roll 11 or higher, the figure receives one Wound. Continue rolling for Cryogenic Field Generator until the figure is destroyed or you do not roll 11 or higher. Figures with the Ice Resistant Special Power are not affected by Cryogenic Field Generator.

Oh, sorry about that. I changed it from medium turquoise to teal (I never knew what teal actually was, thank you HeroScapers for filling the holes in my kindergarten education). Let me know if that's better for you.
