The kids were in a comic movie mood this weekend, so Friday night we watched Wolverine Origins. Saturday night watched Captain America. Tonight we just got done watching Thor.

The Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-Up Zombies!!? (1964)
Yeah that is the title. Pretty weird. When this movie was released, employees of the theaters would dress as monsters and run through the theaters. Filmed in "Bloody-Vision", and "Hallucinogenic Hypnovision". The latter was a spinning black wheel with a white spiral on it. It appears when Madame Estrella hypnotizes her victims. ![]()

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World
I kept waiting for a Hydra to emerge from the Galapagos and slither over the water and out to the ships for some easy pickings, but it didn't happen. |

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
I saw Tom Cruise's Jack Reacher yesterday. It wasn't too great. Reacher isn't a totally "heroic" figure and it's hard to root for him all the time. The plot was thin as well; Cruise just wanted an action movie it seems. There were a few fun moments, but it's not something I'd spend money on to rent at the Redbox.

Re: Movies: What did You Watch Last Night?
It is worth it for Rosamund Pike.
I watched 'Stay Hungry'. Starring: Jeff Bridges Sally Field Robert Englund (original Freddy Krueger) Scatman Crothers R. G. Armstrong (Uncle Lewis, Friday the 13th TV series) Ed Bagely jr. and introducing Arnold Schwarzenegger Arnold plays a body builder(crazy right) who trains for Mr. Universe in a Batman costume and goes by the name of Santo. You have to see it, to believe it and the fight scene is amazing and needs to be redone in a modern movie.
