BMW's army:
Braxas, greenscale warriors x3, and Rhogar Dragonspine.



We played on the BoV map Invasion without any glyphs.



The granite guardians lumber forward.



Braxas meets them in the middle of the field.



The Zettian Guards shoot through the Marro Hive, dealing Braxas one wound.



Braxas' acid corrodes through another granite guardian and a Zettian Guard.



In the middle of the action Braxas is dealt her second wound.



Two granite guardians go down.



A greenscale warrior gets pummeled.



The greenscale warriors strike back.



Another greenscale bites the dust.



Braxas kills the other Zettian Guard and a granite guardian.



The drow chainfighter offers little resistance to the dragon queen.



A granite guardian gets quadruple-teamed.



Warden 816 takes a wound against Braxas and her greenscale warriors.



He perishes shortly after.



A granite guardian falls.



Rhogar Dragonspine takes three wounds from a granite guardian.



Braxas deals with the last granite guardian.



BMW wins!

We played on the BoV map Sidewinder without any glyphs. The snow will be treated as heavy snow. The ice will be treated as normal ice.

Pre-game thoughts: I was a bit disappointed with my guard army's performance during the previous game, so I decided to give them one more chance. This time it appears that my guards will be facing a more favorable opponent, so I am feeling cautiously optimistic before the match. My general strategy is to get the Zettian Guards on the snowy height advantage close to my start zone as soon a possible to take a few long-range shots. The granite guardians will move out in front of the Zettians to act as a dense shield. I will also leave a few granite guardians behind to act as bodyguards for Warden 816 in case BMW pulls anything sneaky.

The Zettian Guards grab height while the granite guardians advance.



Raelin, goblin cutters, and horned skull brutes move forward.



A granite guardian uses rock through to kill a horned skull brute. The brute blocks the attack by using a poor goblin cutter as a shield.



Two horned skull brutes slaughter a granite guardian.



A horned skull brute perishes.



Another horned skull brute falls.



Two granite guardians get pummeled back.



The granite guardians strike back.



A goblin cutter dies.



Rock throw kills a horned skull brute and deals two wounds to Marcu.



Marcu takes a third wound and a goblin cutter falls.



Marcu is defeated.



The horned skull brutes take another casualty as they try to approach the granite guardians.



Yet another horned skull brute gets killed.



A granite guardian gets cut down.



The Zettian Guards pick off a horned skull brute.



The red wyrmling goes down without much of a fight.



A goblin cutter bites the dust.



Mob attack brings down a granite guardian.



A goblin cutter dies.



Another goblin cutter dies.



Yet another goblin cutter dies.



The last horned skull brute is defeated.



The goblin cutters are just not defending well.



Even Warden 816 kills a goblin cutter.



A granite guardian perishes.



A goblin cutter goes down.



Raelin suffers a wound.



The drow chainfighter gets struck down.



Raelin is brought up to three wounds.



The Zettian Guards deal with a goblin cutter.



Raelin takes her fourth wound.



Raelin kills a granite guardian.



The Zettian Guards finish off the last goblin cutter and Raelin.



The CEE wins!

After-game reflection: A lot of things went my way this game. My granite guardian's rock throw gave them a huge advantage on this map. Unfortunately for BMW, the dice were not on his side this game. I was very pleased my guard army won a game. Regardless, it was pretty entertaining having two different squads of heavy melee figures duke it out.
