I've never actually participated in a Fantasy League before but I've always been interested. I know my brother's done it a few times. If you guys don't mind another newbie playing I'd definitely be in.

If we are going to draft August 23rd, which is a Saturday I believe, then 1 pm Central time should work for me, though I would prefer earlier.

I am familiar with the Yahoo interface and use it often so in case I have to miss the live draft, I will surely have my players pre-ranked!

Can't wait to draft Brett Favre... just kidding, just kidding!

We can talk about it, but that would put it at 9pm on the east coast which is kind of late since live drafts do take some time. Besides, since its Saturday night, I would hate to cramp the social life of our single team owners

Correct. The current time is 1pm Central time, so for you that would be 2pm.

Its a lot of fun. And don't worry about being in experienced - My first time doing it I made it to the Superbowl.

Ok, looks like we have two votes for the current time (1pm), one vote for a bit earlier, and one vote for a lot later (8pm). Any of the rest of you guys have any input on the time?

I've been playing for a while. I'll usally be in 4 or 5 different leagues, so I'm very experienced. 2 should work for me, although I'm not sure. 9 won't work, so I'll go ahead and vote for 2.

Ok, looking like 1pm it is. Ty, if you need to, you can actually set a draft order within Yahoo prior to the draft so it can draft for you.

And there's plenty of room... if we end up with too many people, I'll just run two leagues.

I guess as long as we can have a pre-ranking picked for those of us who cannot make it, then I am cool with whatever time. There is a good possibility that I will have a soccer game at between 2pm and 5pm (either 2, 3, or 4 - it's not a 3 hour long game) on that Saturday.

So anyway, I am not opposed to live drafts at all, but they can take a while.
