Re: Letters From the Front
Cool! I love to see a little of that kind of dumb luck making success possible. It feels like real life sometimes.

Re: Letters From the Front
For sure. This was early in the game and they already pledged to destroy the Basilisk, I really thought they would be wiped out in the first hour.
Now they in no way had to even engage the Basilisk so they brought it on themselves. |

Re: Letters From the Front
Had another fun game.
My favorite part was when one PC said "Can someone do something about this crocodile so it doesn't bite my face?" One PC is a Ghost Dancer, which means he can interact with the spirit realm. It has been fun figuring out how his abilities relate to the world of the living. |

Re: Letters From the Front
Hey guys, just a heads up on some rpg bundles that are available in pdf form. I was looking tobhet into Tales From the Loop rpg to play on BGG in a play by forum campaign. My friend Brian sent me a link to this bundle package. It's basically for a space rpg called Coriolis, with rulebook and supplements for like $12. But if you pay just over $25, you will also get the Tales From the Loop rulebook and supplements. So I did that. Then I found out about a second bundle for those games. Again, I mostly wanted Tales From the Loop, but had to het the other one that seems cool too. For Tales From the Loop, it has another supplement and also standalone rulebook for Tales From the Flood, with is similar setting but with older teenager PCs and you can die in this one, unlike in Tales fromn the Loop.

Just wanted to give a heads up for the rpg players out there. Re: Letters From the Front
Thanks for sharing!
Is Tales from the Loop the one that's kind of like Stranger Things? I heard it live played on a podcast I listen to. I enjoyed it, and it definitely had a different feel from the usual. |
