Salems st.valentines day massacre

Entry fee 5$ or a heroscape pack/item

When: February 26th registration at 1:30 games start at 2:00

Where: 1550 Hoffman rd Salem OR 97301 (aka Calvary chapel church)

Army details:bring (2) 315 point armies
-24 spaced starting zones
-7 rounds
-30 minute rounds (with approx 10 minutes in between games)
-marvel = ok
-no proxies or customs
-repaints = ok
-no duplicate armies (if you have Isamu or Marro stingers in one army you may not have it in the other army).

At the start of each round after people have been paired, the person with the lowest ranking decides whether they want to pick the map, which side they start on and pick their army first or allow the higher ranked person to do all this giving them an oppurtunity to best counter the higher ranked person. After someone has picked an army and you have both your armies to choose from, that's the best counter you can have unless you want to decide the battlefield.

Note: people picking maps can't pick a map they or their opponent just played on.

Bring your own figures,dice,order markers,wound markers etc.

This will be a kid friendly event ages 8 and up ( I will recommend that adults have their younger kids dialed in and ready to play so that all may have fun)

Swiss style scoring with partial scoring to all army cards.

Prize table to be updated as people sign up.

Glyphs will be;
standard = attack+1, unique attack+1,common attack+1,move+2,wound glyph,summoning glyph and massive curse.
treasure glyphs= disengage,move+4,teleportation,attack+1,attack+2,whetsome of venom and oceanstrider.

All glyphs chosen are an attempt to speed the game up as we are playing 7 short games.Treasure glyhps will be used on any map that requires 2 glyphs (one standard one treasure).

Awesome, I might get a little help for the setup.

Hopefully everyone else on here can make it to .

I updated the first page with glyphs for anyone interested. The treasure glyphs are there to intice people to use more heros of course, but with the startzones being so big it'll be pretty interesting to see what some of the armies end up looking like.
