New to Heroscapers.com, having a hard time finding maps...

I'm new to Heroscape and just signed up here looking for new maps/scenarios, but I've been finding it hard to find configurations that match the sets & expansions I have. Is there a tool that lets me filter the files better?

Welcome to the site. Yes you can find them in maps/scenarios just look down the list. As you get to know the site it will be easier to find what you need and there are a lot of great men and woman her to help guide you along.

Rogue ASSasSIN, how did you get Mimring's wings bent down like that in the first picture? Whether intentional or not, it looks pretty cool.

By boiling the figures you can soften the plastic so that it can be reshaped and bent how you want it. As it cools the plastic will harden in the position you held it in. Usually they bend back slightly, but the result is pretty cool, as you mentioned.

And don't forget to give a shout out to the beloved fellows over at the BOV. The Battlefields of Valhalla is a very rigorous vetting system for traditional tournament style maps.

They mostly use 2 or 3 different sets. If you have limited terrain you might have a hard time finding exactly what you need, but these are the best of the best. Almost every one is a lot of fun to play on.

Yes I lightly dip the wings in boiling water, than put a good rubber band to hold shape, you might have to do it two times, please be carfule when working with the water without a shirt, take it from me it hurts. Thank you.

Real world only, something like qould drive me crazy if I tried this in VirtualScape.
