Seriously, I've never punched a man before, but I wouldn't mind punching Jimmy...

Re: Heroscape Pet Peeves

Funny thread idea. I want to cast another vote for people that plan their move by actually moving their figures around, then change their mind and forget where they were. It is what I immediately thought of when I read the original post. Just count with your finger!

Another one I hate is people knocking over the terrain. The worst part is, I am a horrible offender of this myself. It is very irritating to me when I knock over the terrrain. Half the time I can't tell exactly where it was before I hit it. I always kinda wished it clicked together a bit better, like Legos.

However, my main Heroscape pet peeve right now is the current price of snow, jungle, etc. Dang my late entry into this awesome game.

Good trades with nbxfan, Porkins, lonewolf, and wilabill1
Good card trades with Grison, Fedex worker, and capsocrates.
Please help me fill in my missing cards Vikinglad's House of Cards List

Re: Heroscape Pet Peeves

I'll echo Schulzy, I hate Jimmyrollers and one sided fights. I once won a game without losing a single figure and it was super boringggg.... Also, Spiderman is a beast, just ask The Mind.

Of course, if everyone assumed that someone else had reported it, but nobody actually did...
You are a wise man Jim
Doesn't matter - it still annoys me.

Oh, spambots are another pet peeve.

Re: Heroscape Pet Peeves

OOOH! Love what's been posted so far. Let me think...

1) Jimmyrolling. Hate it, hate it, hate it.
2) People who, when drafting (for a simply fun game, not competitive) go on the computer to look up strategy guides, books of, and power ranking of a unit they've used for years. You know what counters what, pick it if you want to win that badly!
3) Trying to put newly opened castle sets together with older ones. New bases are sticky, new towers are sticky, and something is gonna break if you don't watch it.
4) Overly negative people. Annoying. And they just go on, and on, and on about all their little worries. Yuck.
5) Finding that a figure doesn't fit on a hex facing towards the fight, and then having to choose between placing them in a backwards facing position, or a hex back to preserve the army's marching position.

Re: Heroscape Pet Peeves

Mine has to be calling the game. Forgetting to bond or not reading the card, sure. But come on, nobody can say they haven't made a huge comeback with barely any units left on the map! It's a game of chance. Take a few.

And forgive me for this...
Spoiler Alert!

Re: Heroscape Pet Peeves

1.Playing a three person game and having a person takes so long deciding what to do that the 3rd person dosn"t want to play anymore. Than we stop playing the game because it takes forever....
