I agree, this is probably the best advertisement for Heroscape I have seen. It's short, gives some lore, explains some synergy, shows clips from the webisodes, shows off the terrain and what you can do with it, and gives a quick overview of the rules. All in about 3 minutes.

Anitar, Myth26, and co. are hard at work getting a transcription of the Tales of Valhalla podcast interview last night with Chris Nadeau/Encarmine put together. In the meantime I wanted to post a few tidbits that I thought were really interesting/revealing: - there are only 6 full-time staff members on the Avalon Hill team. - there is a HasLab team at Hasbro that is responsible for the website. They are entirely separate from Avalon Hill and have their own processes and patterns for putting together the pages (you can see a kind of standard grid template on most HasLab pages). - the HasLab team is used to putting together campaign pages for toys for collectors. Collectors know how action figures work, so they don't need it explained to them. Ergo, explanation of the product is not a typical part of a HasLab page. - Changes to HasLab pages are made by the HasLab team, not by Avalon Hill.

I further inferred that the HasLab team has other "customers" aside from Avalon Hill (based on something similar to that which he said about the "print shop" which is yet another team/department for prototyping models). This would imply that changes to a HasLab page might have to get in a queue/backlog/kanban board along with everything else the team has going on.

HeroQuest and Risk: Shadow Forces both came up in the interview. I believe they've also done The Yawning Portal and Betrayal At House on the Hill; that's certainly the stuff they were advertising at their booth. I think there was another edition of RISK in there too.
