You want "defeat" not destroy.

Big picture question: does this need to be unique? Any reason someone shouldn't be able to draft multiples of this?

Awesome to see some more spells converted!

Final Ruin was one of the strongest spells, IMO. That may be a reason for keeping it unique. But it doesn’t trigger every game so I could see multiples being wasted too.

I feel like I'd always forget to cast this thing when I used it, but I always forget to use these kinds of Backbreaker-style abilities, so maybe that's just a me problem, hoss.

Because it is not a guaranteed cast, I'm not sure I personally would draft multiples unless I had multiple spell casters in my army (and thus better odds of being able to cast it). I find it pretty satisfying to cast when it can be used though. Not sure the opponent would feel the same if it happened multiple times per game.

Point of clarification/potential tweak idea here:

The language in 1.0 made it clear the caster was the one who had to be making the normal attack in order to cast the spell, but when I tried updating the language that may or not have come through. Which gave me an idea here, what if you could cast it after anyone on your team made a normal attack that left someone within range (ie. aura around caster) at 1 life. Maybe make the caster be not engaged unless they are the one making the attack?

Looks good. Do we want normal attack action or just normal attack here?
Also, you want "takes" not "receives."

I'm not sure. I thought we were trying not to use attack as a term, referring to either the attack phase or attack action so I went with normal attack action.

We haven't been trying to avoid attack as a term. We've been trying to avoid timing things after an attack when they need to know the results of the attack (wounding, etc.) to work correctly. This isn't using the attack for the timing, though, just as the source of the wounds.
