After a great deal of deliberation, this is the route I have decided to take this year:

Event Parameters: 520 pts and 24 hexes

Maps:
Trailblazer


Treeline


Recessed Atrium


Cursed Fountains
** Marvel concrete plays like roads **


Cross Trails v3.0


Quasatch Playground


Others are TBD

Power Glyphs/Treasure Glyphs:

Random Treasure Glyph pool:

Heroic Rune (+1 attack)
Brooch of Shielding (disengage)
Elixir of Speed (temp)
Cloak of Invisibility (temp)
Bracers of Teleportation (temp)

Treasure Glyph Traps:
• If you roll a 1–5, you set off the trap. Leave the Treasure Glyph symbol-side
up, roll a battle die - a skull results in unblockable wound on attempting Hero.
• If you roll a 6 or higher, you did not set off the trap, and the figure that
landed on the Treasure Glyph now picks up the Treasure Glyph.


Random Power Glyph pool:

Glyph of Valda (Move +2)
Glyph of Dagmar (Initiative +8 )
Glyph of Kelda (Healer)
Glyph of Lodin (+1 D20)

I am looking to add 2 more maps with the thought that we would build each map 3 times (24 maps), more times as needed.

It looks like I'm going to use this weekend to go to the Texas State Fair on Friday. Never been before, this is why I'm going now: Fried Beer.

Should have samples of 2 different beers this time, as well: the Hop Bomb (about 4 times the hop levels of the Pale Ale I brought before) and my Rue the Ford Wee Heavy Scotch Ale. Both are 10%+, so if you're a shrieky girl like DrL you probably should not partake. These will be ready the day of the tournament, so hopefully we will be renting a room instead of holding it at Madness itself.

Staying away from the Marvel ruin for now.

I am currently wanting to add a fresh feeling Tundra map to the mix. Also, Dignan does have that road compliment to TreeLine that I am wanting to include.
