I understand that sentiment but where does that leave Brutality on Crossbones card. Is it a broken power? Or does it just not work properly when Sin reduces attack? I'm still not 100% where the problem lays. It certainly had nothing to do with the amount I was drinking last night...

Is the goal of Sadistist distraction to both make it to where figures affected by Brutality roll 2 fewer defense dice and Brutality affects figures with +1 attack? If so, I'd just word the power here like this:

SADISTIC DISTRACTION
If a figure that you control attacks an opponent's figure that is engaged with Sin, that figure rolls one fewer defense dice and their attack value on their card is considered to be one lower for the duration of the attack.

But honestly it seems weird to both boost Crossbones' defense reduction and make him better against stronger units. Not seeing why the latter is needed.

Yeah maybe it's a little to strong and should just effect a reduction in defense. It probably cleans things up a bit.

Maybe it should just be -1 defense or -2 defense if the attacking figure is a Terrorist?

I like this even more. Only problem is that is can give Crossbones -3 defense against weaker figures.

I see the word "problem" listed here, but it's not computing. Why is it a problem?

Also, honestly, you'll probably want to double attack with Crossbones from range and get the -2 a lot more than you'll want to engage with him for a single attack at -3.

Seems like Brutality is beyond redemption, so might as well not place the burden of saving it on Sin.

For -2 to the defense. If you want the third from Brutality, you have to engage with Crossbones.

Should it also include wording to include Red Skull as well, like Hydra Advance does?
