Re: The Book of Kumiko
On the same line of thought, Kumiko could start her SA engaged with a Gladiatron, destroy it, then “continue” her move up to 3 spaces and attack up to 2 more times along the way.

Re: The Book of Kumiko
Well met! A certain samurai past-time, was Kodo, the Way Of Incense. Since the Muromachi period, samurai and the aristocracy practiced the art Kodo, or incense appreciation. Popular Kodo games such as Kumiko and Genjiko involved lighting tiny slivers of very expensive fragrant woods, and allowing it to smolder on a small plate, set in an ash filled cup. The master would then pass the cup around, explaining the fragrance the participants were experiencing. When all had raised the cup to their faces, waved their hands gently over the cup to inhale the bouquet, the next piece of burning wood would be passed around. When this precess had been completed 5 or 6 times, the master would re-arrange the order of the incenses, and send them around again. This time, the participants would write down what scent was what, in the hopes of getting all guesses in correct order. At the end, the master would reveal the order, and therefore the winner or winners of the game. Kodo, the Way of Incense, was considered as one of the three classical arts of refinement along with the tea ceremony and flower arrangement. Unfortunately, Kodo, being a rather costly past-time is relatively unknown and rarely practiced in modern Japan. |
