Run don't walk has been chosen as the map to replace Ember Canyon. Also, springing the trap with a roll of 1 or 2 results in the unique/uncommon figure receiving one wound as well as the opponent being able to place it up to 3 spaces away. I do think everything is finalized at this point.

Maps are built and ready for transport. I wish this event was this weekend instead of next (or rather, both weekends).

Oh wait, I still have to get an army together. This should be interesting . . . do I pick a top-rated army and hope I get to play it? Do I bring lower graded units and hope I don't? Or, do I go with a mediocre army and depend on playing it about half the time?

I'm thinking we will see medium grade armies mostly. Units that we like and can play well with that others may not be that comfortable with.

Vipers, here we come . . . maybe.

The map "If you can't take the heat" has been modified slightly so that there is no longer molten lava tiles on the same level as surrounding tiles.

A few days away and I still can't decide on my army. Aargh. At least my daughter has her army figured out.

Your daughter had a pretty good army build, she had me on the run there for a while I almost thought she was going to outlast me in the squad battle. It was interesting how little affect Migol had on the Warforged.

I have got 3 to 4 of the Thralls if you decide to go with that army and want to use them (although I was toying with Nick, Cyp, Sonya, Iskra, Retchets and 3 Thralls, but I probably won't end up playing that build).

I checked the OP for information about treasure glyphs and it doesn't say what die-roll triggers the trap. I'm going to assume a 1-5 triggers the trap but I was looking to get a confirmation on that.

Yes, 1-5 triggers the trap with a roll of 1 or 2 including a wound as well as the 3 space placement. Sorry for not being more clear on that.

Well I got called in to work on Saturday night so I won't be able to come to the tournement after all... . Well guess there is always next year... Have a blast all!!

Bummer, William! This is a rolling rumbling, so if you can come and play a couple of games before you need to leave for work, it would work out.

Either way, we were hoping to meet and play. Next time indeed.

We will be bringing extra pre-set armies (in case any one shows up without forewarning) and extra figures/squads (yes - every extra figure/squad, just in case someone forgets to bring that key figure, or changes their mind at the last moment).

Looking forward to a semi-casual, semi-competitive day of scape with you all.
