Re: Heroscape expansion poll
They're are several thread like this but your new so it's fine and used to be much worse. By the way I like Volcarren Wasteland is best because lava makes you think.

Re: Heroscape expansion poll
I voted Road.
It's changed more maps than any other set. |

Re: Heroscape expansion poll
I voted Tundra, because until VERY recently, I did not own an RttFF set, and I was (and still am) reeeeeeeaaaaally bitter about how many BoV maps use it.
Besides, Dzu-Teh look better than Dumutef or Obsidian Guards. |

Re: Heroscape expansion poll
I know that the FoA has been marked down to 10-12 bucks and it collects dust on the shelves of gaming stores, but I always thought the castle was the best. There's nothing better then a non-scape player coming into a room with a mega castle built. Their eyes bug out, their jaw drops a little bit, and the first words they usually muster are "what is this?".
My vote is mainly judging physical appearance. It's not too bad play-wise either. Plus, inexpensive way to get road tiles. I'm just sayin. |

Re: Heroscape expansion poll
Road to the Forgotten has to take the cake here. Ticalla would come in a close second but not only are they great los blockers but the trees just kind of bring the board to life if you will. However, I would do things more risqué than what I'd do for a klondike bar for two more volcarren wasteland sets so that I could make my dream scenario of Warden 816's Infernal Prison scenario.

Re: Heroscape expansion poll
Tundra,
It's what I see everywhere, Eh. Just when you thought it was all right, someone made it alright. Good trades with - Porkins / xraine69 / mac122 (x2) / frylock / Ztimster (x2) and probably others I forgotten to mention...sorry. Last edited by AMIS; May 17th, 2011 at 07:54 PM. Re: Heroscape expansion poll
Like said prior, the Road Set takes the cake. It brought the most variance, and is still the most used expansion. Coming with sweet trees; a good number of cool tiles; the short walls; and a strong, cool, and well-suited figure to boot; it is definitely the most versatile set.
I was almost tempted to vote for the Jungle, though, for several reasons. It was the first (well, technically, only) expansion that was released while I was playing 'Scape, so I got into all the hype and excitement of it. Secondly, IMHO, it is the most awesome, sickest looking terrain out there, and will greatly enhance ANY, and EVERY map it is added to, no questions asked. ~Those who live by the dice, die by the dice.
