I will plan on having a tournament. If we don't get at least 8 people, it will just be a game day. Please post or PM me if you can or maybe can make it.

When: Saturday, October 18, 12:30pm to 5:00pm
Where: 52025 State Road 933, South Bend, IN 46637 (Game store: Fantasy Games)

Tournament Details:

• 5 round Swiss tournament
• 50 min per round
• Players should bring a 520 point army (No Marvel), order markers, dice, and wound markers.
• Start zones will be 24 spaces.
• Victory conditions: Destroy all of opponent's figures
• Rules: Swarm of the Marro Master Set Rulebook and Advanced FAQ
• Glyph pool: Attack +1 (Astrid), Initiative +8 (Dagmar), Defense +1 (Gerda), Healer (Kelda), Lucky d20 (Lodin), Move +2 (Valda)

Have you ever heard of The Griffen in south bend? It is another game store but I don't know information about having rooms for games or anything but I think they have a game room and stuff and they should be open saturday.

I would possibly be interested in going though. I could probably convince my dad to come and my cousin (pti8888888 to be there also. I think the point limit should be 520 and a 5 round swiss. Just like the GenCon championship.

I would probably come too with stumpy and his dad. I could probably do either a Saturday or a Sunday but I'll have to look at soccer schedules and things and i'm not sure when bball starts but i doubt we would play on a saturday. So as for now count me in.

I also agree that it shud be 520 pts. 5 round swiss if we have enough people. I love playing but haven't played in a while and this would give me some motivation to play for testing armies.

i haven't heard of a whole lot of people playin heroscape in Northern IN besides us 3, but I know there are a lot of people in the Indy area, the Chicago area, and the Central Michigan area but I don't know if they are doing there own tournaments for NHSD.

As for prizes, I could probably bring a small booster set. That shouldn't be a problem. Don't let the prize stop people though. The bigger the better. It is a lot more fun to play with 20-25 people than 8-13 or so people.

If we don't get enough people for a tournament, then we also could just have a game day. Just have whoever shows up play whatever they decide on.

I think Sunday might work better for me too. I will work out the details of the venue this week and post something definate. I would be happy with just a game day if we don't have enough for a tournament but I will have to see what the owner of the store says since he will be opening up just for us. I will have an answer no later than Wed. of this week.

Here's the deal folks. If I don't get enough interest (even if you are not sure if you can make it) in a tournement by the beginning of next week (Sept. 9), I am going to cancel it. For those of you that are interested, if the tourney is cancelled, we can always get together whenever to play at Ubergeekgear or Fantasy Games. Just let me know when you are available and I will ask if they have room.

There is no entry fee. That means you don't need to bring a prize. I do, however, have some prizes if we have enough people for a tournament.
